Just happened to drive by and decided to check it out. They had lovely pieces but it was the seconds that sold me. Great pieces that were really inexpensive. We bought a mug (regular price), 2 bowls (seconds for $5 each), a saucer (seconds for $5) and 3 egg-shaped ornaments (seconds for $0.50 each!). You can hardly tell that they were seconds. Artists are such critics of their own work.. Mike, you make beautiful pottery!Note - not sure if the seconds is on-going or just an occassional sale.

If you are looking for a unique gift for yourself or a friend this is the place to go. They have all original and handmade pottery by local people. Fabulous gallery featuring the work from the members - not to mention a teaching studio! If you're in town for a weekend, book a private lesson - or if you live in the area, you can take an eight week class. A bargain compared to other class I've seen around. Tons of great gifts and gift certificates are available. The new(ish) owner, Mike, was great and very good at answering our pottery questions. The only down side is the location, since it isn't in the downtown area with the rest of the shops - but if you're driving, its not really a big deal.
