I was lucky enough to snag tickets for opening night of the run of West Side Story at the Riverside Theater. I had a tough time trying to abstain from singing along. The cast and performance was simply first rate. I had no clue that the orchestra consisted of 10 musicians instead of the 28 that handled the real Broadway production. The choreography was beautiful. The singing was wonderful. My only complaint (as a native of Long Island) was that the young actors did not accurately capture the New York accent important for "Officer Krupke." Oh well -- I must be psychologically distoibed!!! Because this is a 625 seat theater, there are no bad seats. The view from the balcony was excellent. At the reception after the show, it was fun to speak with the choreographer and to have a chance to meet the cast. The Riverside Theater produces all of its own plays and this one was a gem. Congratulations!

Going to see a play at Riverside Theatre is like being on Broadway in NYC. A lot of the plays at Riverside Theatre have Broadway actors in them. The prices are a lot less expensive and are rated up to par with Broadway plays. Riverside Plays are only seasonal but they are well worth it. Go see for your self. You won't be disappointed.

Wonderful production in a wonderful theater. Tried the balcony (Row BB) for this production and that worked out great. In addition to seeing the play you get a good view of things happening in the orchestra pit.

This was an amazing show. Hard to imagine our little town having such excellent productions. The actors were chosen from NY auditions. The choreography was amazing, perfect synchronization, singing worthy of Broadway. Sound technology of the voices was perfect. The sets were excellent, the orchestra was also incredible. There are snacks and beer and wine available before the show and during intermission. it is so much better than the movie, no comparison...You'll definitely love this show!

We enjoyed the outdoor music before the main show. The featured comedy acts were good and we spent the evening in stitches! The staff worked hard to make sure everything went smoothly.

We attended a local production. The facilities were very nice and clearly showing a strong community involvement. Parking is across the street on a flat lot with plenty of spaces and well lighted. Intermission offered drinks with chocolate candies-very nice. The auditorium is reasonable sized with comfortable seating. We will return.

I have seen shows here for over a decade. In the last three years they have really upped their game. There are no broadway "touring troupes" or "road shows". They do each show from scratch, from going to New York and casting Equity actors, to designing and building new sets every time. It shows. Having lived in the NY metro for decades, and going to Broadway for theatre, I can safely say, they are in the Broadway ballpark. Of course some shows are better than others, just like NY. While Riverside's production of Le Misérables was smaller than the original Broadway production, I liked it better. Their current production of "The Bikinis" is a small show, but very nice.

We have been visiting this theatre for three years now. We have a four show package and front row seats for a Saturday matinee show four times a "season". The quality of the shows is superb and we have seen so many Broadway shows that we otherwise wouldn't see that we simply love it.

My wife and I saw "The Bikinis" last night at Riverside. A great musical about four women who sang together in the 60s and 70s and reunite to save Sandy Shores Mobile Home Resort from being sold to a developer. This was of particular interest, since the setting is based on the tiny town of Briny Breezes, Florida, which faced this dilemma in 2005. The music was excellent, and as always, Vero's Riverside Theatre provided an excellent venue for the show. Vero Beach is fortunate to have this wonderful facility!

Saturday I saw "The Bikinis"...WOW! WOW! WOW! I saw Joanna Young when she performed in NYC in Grease... she's EVEN BETTER NOW. Her voice and performance in "The Bikinis" MADE THE SHOW a MUST SEE before Nov 16th!!!! Go and laugh and sing out loud...Maybe you should just laugh out loud and sing to yourself :) Either way, GO see for yourself...

I happened upon an outdoor concert that was rescheduled indoors due to inclement weather. The flamenco guitarist and his group performed in the atrium and were fabulous.
