I dont know who writes these reviews but they must be selling something. New Smyrna has become a nasty tourist trap. Great if you like sitting still in traffic. Tripping over trash and drunk tourists at the beach. Paying $10 a day to use a parking lot. There are so many nicer beaches here in Florida. Skip New Smyrna.

This event is a monthly must for my fiancée and I. Beautiful sights.. Great shopping and excellent wine. A can't miss event if you are in the area.

A wonderful park on the ocean at the center of NSB. A small park, but great access to the ocean for visitors.

Exiting from Route one over the bridge east you will enjoy everything from wine tasting to bands and singers. Shops of all levels line the street to the large parking area at the beach entrance. Yes, it is safe to drive on the beach $10 a day or seasonal rate. Trendy places to enjoy all levels of food.Parking along the street (not metered). Typical tourist trap, but a fun time. Hint: Check out the weekly activities and be prepared to hunt for a parking space if you are not there before the stores open on the weekend, 2and 1/2 miles of drivable beach. Modern boardwalk at the parking area a few steps to the beach.

Great spot with a super mix of friendly, trendy, local fare! Good shops with neat things....excellent selection of restaurants/bars.... very neat place to enjoy :)

Plenty of parking, a new boardwalk. Nice picnic areas. Sometimes there's entertainment. Always something happening there. Kite festivals to sand castle compitions.

The shops have things you will not find other places. It is right at the beach. Nothing we didn't like.

Small park on great beach, plenty of parking or you can pay $5. to drive on the beach. Many good restaurants right there on that street and shopping also.

This park was very nice and clean. A good place to bring the family and have a picnic. It's not very big so you could really keep an eye on the kids there.

We come to this park a lot, mostly in the evening. Great place to just relax and feel the sea breeze and hear the ocean. Very updated with nice rest rooms and picnic area. More know by locals.

This is a nice spot to sit and people watch. There are bathrooms, nice parking area, and showers. It's within walking distance to many shops and restaurants up the street. There are life guards on the beach also. Just a nice place to stop.

I love the location of Flagler Ave Park because... A- It has parking, clean bathrooms, outdoor showers for rinsing and a lifeguard station. B- It is walking distance to shopping and eating which are all beach attire friendly! C- there are tons of rentals right there from bikes to paddle boards and everything in between. I guess it is a one stop beach to meet all of your needs!! Great for families, teens or couples.

Parking at Flagler Ave. Park gives you the best of what New Smyrna has to offer. The park itself and its bathrooms are clean and maintained. You can go right down on the beach and be directly in front of life guards and beach concessions. Or you can wander up Flagler Ave. with its charming shops and eateries. Some are geared toward serious surfers, but most are high quality merchandise and boutiques. It's worth the walk to my favorite store - Gifts with Humanity.
