Hollywood Beach is a beautiful beach on the Hollywood Broadwalk (spelling intended). We stayed on the North end of it for 1 week. Never did we see any bad behavior (public drunkeness or fighting or loud behavior). Everyone there was pleasant and enjoying the beautiful weather and location everywhere we went. Even on late night walks we felt totally secure ---It was like a our own slice of paradise!

Not crowded. Good amenities. Variety of restaurants. Typical shops. Gets a bit crowded at the north end in the late mornings.

We liked the Hollywood Beach Golf Resort. It was clean, safe, comfortable and affordable. If you need an elevator and a concierge, you will have to pay a whole lot more and stay somewhere else in the area.

clean well organized. Chairs available right outside the hotel rented by the city. The hotel restaurant is located so you can overlook the ocean and full moon was rising over the ocean when we were there.

Its a wonderful feeling to walk by the shoreline especially in the evening when the sun is about to go down. Its a fantastic place to bathe too. I thought the beach was pretty dirty when compared to other beaches that I have visited so far. Also parking is difficult to get and can be extremely expensive.

Listen... I looooooove Hollywood Beach and the Boardwalk.... I go all the time. Love to take my bike and just do the whole boardwalk.. then relax on the beach. many stores.. and bars. You have to go to the Taco Spot.. my favorite place there. The only problem now is that some people go fishing there in the afternoon. They set up their fishing rods.. and lately they start really early. it used to be at night. Now they tell tourists and residents to get out of the water so they can fish. NOT FAIR. 4 PM still early for people to get out of the water so they can fish. Also I think it is dangerous.. as someone can get hurt. I wonder if this is even legal... but definitely authorities don't say anything.

Took the Water Taxi and spent some time here for about 45 minutes just strolling the Broad Walk. A beautiful beach

Beautiful, palm trees growing in the sand, cerulean water.... like a post card. Plenty of rinse stations, access to food and drink and lots to do and see.

Very clean and not very crowded. Lots of nice shops on the boardwalk. The only downside is there didn't seem to be many shells after the tide went down.

Great beach, nice views bith directions, quieter than Lauderdale or Miami. Would definitely go there again

We went to the Hollywood beach on a rather cool day in the 60s. Only a few crazies were even in shorts and tees on the beach. No one was in the water. It was very quiet with no activity. This looks to be a very seasonal hot spot probably between April-October. Otherwise, seems pretty dead. Just had the usual bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. Many were closed.

There are so many wonderful things to say about Hollywood Beach! The beach itself is absolutely gorgeous, and on the boardwalk there are millions of places to eat, drink, and have a good time. I was surprised, however, the first time we visited how rundown portions of the boardwalk are. I kind of like that the vibe is casual and relaxed, and I don't need everything to be brand new and perfectly pristine, but there is a creepy nearly-deserted mall on one end of the boardwalk, and there are several places that could use some TLC. The good completely outnumbers the bad, though, and we will be back there again to enjoy the sun, sand, and surroundings! There is also lots of easy parking nearby, and the prices are reasonable for beach parking. Go, and have a great time!
