Beautiful park with a long Boardwalk and a nature center. Very nice elevated pavilions in the swamp that are wonderful for parties. Lots of birders to help you spy the fauna!

Our family enjoyed a beautiful day in the park. The natural beauty of the park and it's surroundings made me feel like we were on vacation which brought restoration. We enjoyed meeting other along the way.

Loved seeing the manatees. There were quite a few manatee in the area. Fun to watch them slowly moving around, coming up for air and rolling over. Wish the water were a little clearer. Sort of merky. I think they have done a great job with the showing of the manatee. The viewing area was done very nicely. Lots of area to move around. The price is fantastic (0) the gift shop is very nice and the personal very helpful and pleasant. We did not get to tour the entire area but what we saw was well worth the trip down there.

This park is a great park for walking as they have multiple trails and a boardwalk over the swamplands.. I stop by this park whenever I am in the area visiting family

This park has never let me down. Lots of wildlife viewable from the extensive boardwalk. There is a canoe/kayak launch and a wonderful park area.

Lettuce Lake Park is the perfect park to spend the day, either as a family or friends. With many shelters along the trails or at the center of the park, you can reach early to have a picnic, the trail has an amazing view of the lake, bird watchers can get happily surprised, it has 2 playgrounds for the little ones, it is so close to Busch Gardens that if you are staying in that area it is worth to come visit. If you bring your bikes, it is a great place to ride them. It is my favorite park in the city.

We actually saw several large alligators in their habitat while walking on the boardwalk. It was fun and educational. A great place to see FL wildlife in their natural habitat and safely from the boardwalk that goes through the swamp.

love to walk around here, the kids love the playgrounds and i loved the tower even saw a gator, plus there is things to workout on and hiking trails!

Had a relaxing day with my wife. lots of wildlife to see and the boardwalk was very nice. Not much direction though so we wandered around. Its only $2 per car though so very cheap.

Board walk through Cypress swamp was wonderful. We happened to be there o a cold day in Feb. and apparently didn't see as much wildlife as usual. But did see gaters & osprey & just enjoyed sitting on a bench in the sun watching the river. A light spring green was just beginning to emerge in the taller trees.Wonderful change from the traffic & hussle of Tampa.

This park had a nice boardwalk to walk around on and enjoy nature. There was walking trails to enjoy too and an area for children.

Outstanding place. 4 mile boardwalk over natural tidal waters. Easy to view exotic plants and animals. Saw an alligator sunning. Many exotic birds. They have a canoe-kayak rental. Entry is $1.

We went to this park, based on its reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. The $2 fee is really for parking - one car and up to 8 passengers. We left at lunch and came back in the afternoon - did not have to pay again, just showed our parking pass from the morning. The boardwalks are easy to find and provide some interesting views. We saw turtles, alligators, muskovy ducks, limpkins, red-winged blackbirds, and an unidentified animal (we're waiting for confirmation of what it was). Nice quiet place with beautiful views of the Hillsborough River. Good way to spend a couple of hours. Lovely scenery from the boardwalks. I'd definitely go there again.

we needed something for the kids to do and were tired of the them parks, so we took the day had a panic lunch and let the kids ride Their bikes, walk the board walk and loo at the tower.

If you like nature, you have to take a walk on this parks boardwalk. In April it is a birders Paradise. But even the rest of the year this park has some great views, intimate surroundings, and that feeling of getting away from the concrete jungle.Bring lunch and take a leisurely stroll, you will easily relax away a couple of hours in your day.
