What a nice place to spend some time and catch up on the beach history. The museum is not very big, does not cost to get in, the memorabilia very local and cool and everyone is friendly and has a story. We found this to be more than we expected. The old church/house conversion is part of the story and you get that homey feeling. The history of the people and the development of the area is pretty nicely laid out for you. It will help you appreciate the area more. If you are like us the donation jar gets a little help. :)

Everyone connected to this gem Loves the region & has real passion for the work they do. I had a lovely rainy day here hearing story after story of the history of SPB and Pass a Grill. The experience at the museum enriched my own love of the area. Thank you ladies for your love & service.

Was so relieved that this historic building had a wheelchair access. Be certain to bring cash, they don't accept credit cards. This museum has a donation jar. Take the kids, they will enjoy the interaction.

This little museaum is run and maintained totally by volunteers who show a great love of the area. There is a ton of literature about different aspects of the region, including the local lore about the first inhabitants of Pass-a-Grille Beach and how the name came about. A great way to spend a few minutes out of the hot sun!

Lots of interesting artifacts and information tucked inside this old church that was used as a home for several years. Be sure to visit with the volunteer staff members to appreciate everything that is on display.

Well, it depends on your taste, but this is a very interesting stop, non-touristy, with locals who want to share their passion for local history,, which is quite interesting. I'd say you would spend an hour, but for insights into how St. Pete Beach developed, it was very good. Wonderful picture of Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio on the beach.

Donations based local museum. Interesting insight into the history of the islands. One can spent 20 minutes or two hours, depending on attention to all the displays. I am glad that locals have a place to deposit all their memorabilia rather than throwing it out.

My dad wanted us to tour this museum with him....he lives part-time at St. Pete Beach and he wanted to show it off. It is a small museum, but full of treasures and lots of information. Definitely worth spending a morning or afternoon at.

We visit this small museum all the time when we are in St Pete Beach (Pass a Grille). Very educational. A must place to see if you are in the area. Be sure to check hours of operation as they are only open a few days a week.

Intriguing journey of the development of the Gulf Coast is offered at this quaint little museum. The history of the Pinellas Bayway is fascinating, too.Limited hours, but worth a visit.

This little museum carries such interesting and meaningful history and being born and raised in Tampa and taken to the beach until I could drive myself, made this very special to visit. I love the way it looks at night too! You feel like you go back into time.

The volunteer guides at this little historic museum were obviously passionate about their job. Very interesting with fun anecdotes about the people & buildings in Pass-a-Grille's past. Great nautical artifacts & nice displays of a historic church & a seaside school.

Who wouldn't just fall head over heels for this museum! It is full of juicey tid bits of our history. My momma use to live a few blocks from here and she swears by this hidden gem. The only down side is that since it's free and operated by volunteers they do close quite early.
