We enjoyed a lovely stroll along the Stuart Riverwalk with its restaurants, street performers, fishing piers, and beautiful views of the river... actually walked under a passing freight train! It is a wonderful way to experience this lovely riverside community.

There is so much to see on the walk, make sure that you take in the long pier and possibly see the resident manatee that feeds in the area. There is often live music and always great food choices.

The walk starts at the outdoor amphitheater by Duffy's Sports bar and ends at the marina on the other side of Rt 1. Plenty of places to stop along the way plus nice benches at the marina. Two piers (one was under construction in January 2015).

We did this walk yesterday beginning in downtown Stuart. It is a combination of boardwalk, sidewalks, walking under the bridge and through Flagler park. It is all very picturesque. If we did the entire walk which I think we did, it is about three miles round trip. It was interesting and fun every step of the way. As sother have said, there are lots of shops, restaurants, and plenty of boats to look at in the marinas along the way. We did the walk around noon and there is quite a bit of shade which was very nice. Stuart has done a nice job putting this together. I would imagine that it's also pretty at night with the lights along the way. There are also public bathroom facilities along the way.

We spent a Sunday afternoon here a couple weeks ago listening to some good reggae and enjoying lunch at the Boathouse. We sat outside and was able to enjoy the band while we were eating lunch. Gotta get there early though to get a good seat. This place was busy and crowded but we enjoyed it very much.

Several miles of boardwalk, pathways and fishing piers along the river are amazing. The boardwalk is either the lands’ end or sometimes free standing along the coast line of this picturesque and historical town of Stuart. Peppered along the way with fun restaurants, marinas and museums, it is a great way to pass an afternoon. The fishing pier goes a third into the river under the huge over bridge and offers quite an exciting view of the river. You can continue on under the railroad over pass and further west along the river as it turns southwards through a quaint neighborhood, all the way to Shepards Park, a lovely park with more riverside walks and dockage. We walked across the drawbridge to the boat show which was happening this particular Friday. The historic town of Stuart is chock full of great shops and restaurants. All in all, I really enjoyed the day. I own Shadey Acres, a five star vacation home in Jupiter, and since Stuart is only 25 minutes north of Jupiter Farms on I95, I will be adding this area as one of the five star attractions to my Welcome Book!

This is such a great place! The food is way above average and the service is great! The atmosphere is most enjoyable, as are the other patrons that frequent this establishment. The meals are upscale and enticing. Their wine and liquor selections are plentiful and better than most.

Great spot to visit while in the Stuart area. Great shops, restaurants and outside venue. The Riverwalk Restaurant is fabulous. Ceasar salad with spicy cornmeal encrusted oysters, is outstanding as well as all menu items. You won't be disappointed.

This is wonderful little spot down town with a very urban feel. It reminded me a of Manhattan or Chicago sort of place. The first time I ate at the bar and had a lobster roll. It was delicious and came in two rolls, really enough for two people for a light lunch and it was well priced. The sides were great and the ambiance was delightful. The second time I sat at a table and had a sandwich which was delicious. Good wine list, not too expensive.

I have never had a bad meal here. And if you like roasted garlic, you have found your place! Make sure you get it with your rolls!

Always something going on. Stroll along by the river, shop in the delightful boutiques or have a bite in the restaurants. Go to the theatre see a great show. Everything is here right in downtown Stuart's Riverwalk!
