An interesting little museum. The displays are chocked full of military history. Some of the items are hands on which is great for the kids. It would have been interesting to have a WW all veteran to tell us about some of the items.

This compact Free museum housed in a 40s era barracks is just 3 rooms but houses a very interesting collection of artifacts from WW 1 to present. Collection houses some interesting weapons that visitors are allowed to touch. They Aldo have a remarkable war scene diorama, air dropped motor scooter. (Very rare ) and a vintage military Harley Davidson motor cycle. Be sure to visit and leave a donation of $5 per person as donations are their primary funding source.

This small museum is very active in the community. They help with numerous civic and school projects. I personally am involved with the work they do for the Stuart Air Show and Sailfish Regatta. The museum itself is small but well laid out and has some Stuart history also. They hope someday to move to a larger space, maybe by the airport so they can have more exhibit space.

Most museums have their items stored inside a glass case. With a request to the on site volunteer, you are allowed to pick up and touch many of the items on display. My favorite was a Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) - wow is it heavy - 16 pounds. The museum is open to the public every Saturday, 10am to 4pm. Parking is plentiful in nearby Memorial Park. There is no entry fee, but a donation is appreciated.

This is a fabulous museum, with a lot of displays and information nicely packed into a little building (but not crowded). They are adding more items to the museum, and they sponsor the local air show which is in November every year and also highly recommended.

Housed in a WWII brracks building behind Memorial Park in Stuart you find RTVMM. Definately worth taking a few hours on a Saturday morning to check it out. Every item in the museum has a story. Almost all pieces were donated by servicemen or their families. Staff are all volunteers. This museum is a labor of love from people who respect our history and the men and women who fought for the US.

We visited when this attraction was almost brand new. They have some amazing items and the staff was friendly and interactive. They were still working on a lot of displays, but so far the place look fantastic. I'm so glad we have people like this around to help us preserve our history for future generations.
