Played this as part of our four course weeks package. Not as scenic as the two Country Club courses already played but a fair challenge.Greens slowest we had played so far, so struggled getting ball near the cup!Enjoyed playing though.

new renovations were spectacular! loved each hole & was lucky enough to play behind a former masters champion! will play again no doubt!

This course from the men's tee box is more difficult than the Stadium course. Of course, if you go back, there is no comparison.

The course was recently redone, putting it in great condition. It is quite challenging with water affecting the outcome of many holes, undulated fairways and lots of sand. Don't be a hero by playing the back tees and you'll enjoy the round more. Only slight gripe was the cart path only rule on holes 13-18. It clearly added dearly needed time to the round as we were trying to get our round completed before dark.

Played this course last year was OK, but now after the renovation of fairways, greens and bunkers it is excellent, conditions of course is very comparable to Stadium course...at about half the price to play compared to Stadium course its a must to play....

Great to play Valley Course and the Stadium. Both in excellent condition and played both with our very helpful caddie Bill. Valley course is easier than the Stadium course but both difficult for average golfers. Club House & facilities excellent

Beautiful course that was recently redone. Tried to get on Stadium course, but completely booked. The Valley course was very nice. Staff was very friendly.

We played it as part of a golf weekend at Sawgrass. The consensus in our group of 36 golfers was that it was a tougher course than the TPC Stadium Course. Water everywhere, very deep difficult Sawgrass rought, and TIGHT fairways. Leave the driver in the bag!

The grounds and clubhouse were beautiful. The only negative is that the guard at the gate gave us the wrong directions to get to the right course.

The course was in great shape. The new Tiffeagle greens were nearly perfect. They were very firm, but they rolled very true as the surfaces were blemish-free. However, the speed of the greens were not all consistent. A couple of them were noticeably (after putting) slower than the others. While the course was great, and the staff was friendly, courteous and helpful, the pace of play was appalling. It took over 5 hours to play 18 holes, and we had to wait to tee off on all but two holes. We probably spent as much time waiting as playing. According to our caddy, it normally takes 4 hours or less to play. He was frustrated as well. Their excuse? An early group of ten teed off 20 minutes late and then played slowly because of internal wagering. They claimed they tried to "move them along," but were unsuccessful. We couldn't understand this. First of all, if they are that late to start, you make them start on the 2nd or 3rd hole. If they don't keep up the pace of play, you give them the option of skipping a hole or leaving the course! Sure this is not a great option, but is it better to anger the 10 offenders or annoy, frustrate and anger the 100 or so players behind them? We consider this a failure of management to manage the course properly! Our complaints were deflected with comments about the great course conditions.... Management's utter failure to manage the pace of play was the only reason I gave this course a 4 instead of 5 rating.

Playing this course after the renovation and knowing the tournament had just gone through, we expected the conditions to be excellent. We were shocked to find that they decided to punch large holes in the fairways on the back 9 (leaving the plugs laying on the ground everywhere).Even worse... they were STEAMROLLING those same fairways!! Imagine the lie that this this maintenance activity created for approach shots!! No disclosure made by the Pro Shop staff. Course certainly was not worth what we paid.Bad form, and thus we won't return. Boo

We played the Valley course the day after we played the stadium course. The Valley course is a gem as well! The greens and tees were excellent, and the pace of play was less than four hours. Great Track, Highly Recommend!

As a golfer who has played multiple courses over my life under all kinds of conditions this recent experience at the Valley course at Sawgrass sums up what you can expect. The stater greeted us, nice guy, with this quote "please use the 90 degrees when crossing the fairways and replace all your divots" .... Excuse me ... The next day they were closing the course to entirely tear it up for a total re-design. That sort of sums it up. You are just a number playing at the convenience of Sawgrass and you will be treated that way.The course was not in great shape based on what was to come, but The layout was challenging and visually appealing.

This course lives up to all the hype. Each round we played had an assigned caddie to guide you through the course. We played a Texas scramble format and started on the picturesque 17th hotel. The course had temporary greens on 5 holes just because they were getting it ready for the players cup.

This is a great track, difficult with good greens. The whole place is closed for renovations until Sept. 2014 Web.com championship. It is going to be on the the premier public courses in N Florida.Shares the 88,000 sq ft clubhouse & superb practice facilities with The Stadium Course. Outstanding golf teaching facility, with all the high tech gizmo's headed up by Jorge Parada. Offers the best instruction in my long experience. Not sure about the future but there were some deals on Golf Now before the renovation. Try it when it reopens. It will be worth it.
