I never thought this would be a place I would go being a creationist....BUT it was fabulous! The grounds are impeccable, beautifully landscaped, plus there are play areas and picnic areas. Very well thought out attraction with incredible huge dinosaurs in realistic jungle settings. We went to film a birthday video to send our soon to be 4 years old grandson, who is a huge dinosaur fanatic. We had a blast. There are great boardwalks thru the jungle setting and sidewalks in other areas. All handicapped access done right. Great gift store with very reasonable prices and super nice staff. Not a piece of litter anywhere it was so clean I as amazed. There are sooooo many dinosaurs. This is a perfect venue for the dinosaur lover.

Went here as an afterthought, but actually enjoyed it. Very clean and friendly. Have to pack a lunch, which we did not do.

This place was WAY better than we expected. When I read "over 200 life-sized dinosaurs" I figured over half would be no bigger than a chicken. What a wonderful surprise! Dinosaur World is basically a lovely botanical garden populated by a vast array of large to HUGE replicas of prehistoric beasts: lurking in the jungle foliage, soaring just above the surface of a stream and looming over the path. We loved it. There are some great interactives and activities for kids, a small museum with a handful of genuine fossils, and lots of historic/scientific information. The "Carnivore Area" features some rather grisly kill scenarios but is easily avoided by those sensitive to such sights. We had a blast and our 2-year-old loved it.

I took 4 children. 3 nine yr olds and one 11yr old.The 9's had a blast and could not had enough of the boneyard, the gem mining and the playground. I had to drag them out.The 11th mostly tag a long and participated and had some fun but not as much as the 9's.

After driving past many times on trips to Tampa, a friend and I finally decided to stop and check out this road-side attraction. It was a lot bigger than I expected. Lots of dinosaur replicas nestled into the natural Florida wetland/forest landscape, almost like you’ve been transported back in time. It’s cute. Perfect for dinosaur-loving children or the young at heart. I wish the dinosaurs were more durable, because all the ropes & "do not touch" signs detracts slightly from the experience; the fantasy would feel more real without them. I also wish there had been more animatronic dinosaurs in the museum. We entered at a discounted price, on a cold mid-50 degree day, and were braced for an incredibly cheesy experience. What we found was a clean, pleasant walk thru the woods sprinkled with scenes of both amusingly cheesy/fake dinos AND realistic/well done dinos. It was a fun stop.

Dinosaur World is a small, family-owned and oriented park. The park is broken up in to several different areas including a gift shop/entrance,indoor animatronic display, a playground, and a sand pit digging area. Several areas were closed or out of order but overall a nice time to walk around and look at the statues.

While this had plenty of educational info about dinosaurs and very well done sculptures, my 1 year old wasn't all that into it all. The 4-8 year olds were having a blast. The animatronics were well done in the museum and we all liked those (wish there was more like that). Not a logical lay-out with lots of dead ends and circling back, but if you've got a group of youngin's, you'll get your money's worth.TIP: No food sold in this park. There are multiple picnic areas, though, so bring a little cooler of yummies.

This was a VERY nice place. Well maintained! There is not a lot of employees walking around or anything. We packed a lunch and ate on one of there MANY picnic tables. Very nice playground. I was very surprised at the condition of all the models and signs. would go again! Tip: pack a lunch there is nothing close to eat and no food service

Well kept, very clean. The lady with the blue hair that did the cave show was great. Really engaged the children. Place was like a nature walk back in time. Definitely meant for younger children though probably under the age of nine. Better than average gift shop.

I was skeptical after reading a few negative comments...but they were unfounded. The park is easy to find, park, and enter. The grounds are well maintained and very clean. Bring your own food...there are plenty of picnic tables and the parking is close to the entrance. There are soda drink machines around the park. The dinosaur replicas are immaculate...and placed in natural and beautiful settings. Allow two to four hours, depending on your interest, to see it all and take in the events. Note: with a few exceptions the replica's are roped off and touching or climbing on them is not allowed. The gift shop is huge.

My grandchildren (10 and 8) had lots of fun with all the activities! They enjoyed mining for “precious stones”, and had a lot of questions to ask about the dinosaurs that were answered either by the personnel, or by their own experience in digging for fossils. There is not a cafeteria or a restaurant, but food is allowed to enter.

Dinosaur World is so much more interesting and diverse than just the 150 life-size dinosaur models in a lush jungle setting. The theme is more about the world as it was millions of years ago including geology, crystal formations etc. The prehistoric museum has amazing fossilized teeth, dinosaur eggs and bones which made it all far more real than sci-fi Jurassic Park! The interactive exhibits outside had us all trying to guess the answers. The Cave show with paleontologists discovering dinosaur bones and showing the tests they do was really interesting. The add-on activities are well worth doing. The Fossil Dig allows your kids to find as many fossils as they like and then choose their favorite three to take home. The Gem Mine provides a bucket of dirt for you to wash and examine for real gems including sparkling citrines. It was great. Finally I learned what a geode is and saw visitors getting some superb crystals to take home. A great theme park and very reasonable admission.

Took the grandkids (ages 5, 4 and 2) to Dinosaur World yesterday and it was great. Lots and lots of dinosaurs, educational and interactive. The park is beautiful and includes picnic areas and a wonderful playground that the kids really enjoyed. The Fossil Dig and Dino Gem Excavation were favorites. They were both educational and the kids went home with treasures from their visit. Be sure to check out the reciprocal agreements with other museums for discounts. If your kids, or grandkids, have any interest in dinosaurs, or you just want to go to a nice outdoor park with fun activities and educational value I highly recommend Dinosaur World.

We had a great visit to Dinosaur World. The children enjoyed seeing the dinosaur and playing on playground. However not sure why people are allowed to bring their dogs in the park. Don't need dogs on playground where children are playing. Would not go back to the park for that reason.

Dinosaur world was great. A very clean and nice park. We spent the extra money to let our toddler dig for fossils and pan for gemstones. He had a blast! Park was not crowded which was also a huge plus.
