We were having a great time until the owners husband/dj came up to my group of friends and got into my face(120lb girl) and told me that me and my friends needed to get the "eff" out of his bar. Apparently someone touched his tv near where we were standing, and out of everyone in the bar he came up to me and started yelling that he owned the bar and didn't care what the customers thought of him because no matter what reviews we wrote or who we told about the situation it wouldn't matter. He was completely out of line and for us to be accused of something we didn't do and completely disrespected by the husband of the owner is unacceptable customer service. My friends and I will not be returning to this establishment and it's unfortunate to ask employees who work at this place of business who knew exactly who this guy was and they have to apologize for his behavior and basically the complaint goes nowhere because he is married to the owner. I have never been treated with such disrespect and I do not recommend this establishment due to the accusations and disregard of customer service.

This place is getting worst worst. The DJ is horrible! Unapproachable and he just plays what he wants to hear. The owner doesn't seem to care what the customers think. The crowd is becoming younger and more foolish. It's a shame because the Chic a Boom room is so nice. I will not be spending anymore time or money at the Blur.

Came for Mardi Gras. Great specials and energetic staff. The bored, unenthusiastic DJ (as always) is ACTUALLY wearing a shirt That says 'no requests'. Which explains the reason I STILL haven't heard the song he gladly took 5$ for back in DEC.

OMG....what fun!!! A fun party atmosphere, very entertaining and somewhere in all of this you play Bingo. The "Ladies" running the Bingo are very good at what they do, funny, bawdy, stunning and they certainly keep you on your toes. God forbid someone yells "Bingo" and they are mistaken......you probably won't do that twice ....unless you want to be on your knees before "the Queen" with a face full of costume. They tease and perform throughout the night...and there will be prizes from local vendors! Again, very entertaining.

my boyfriend and I went here with some of our friends from out of town we wanted to show them a good time. We thought blur and the chick a boom room we're great places to go as we've never had a problem there before. However, about the next door was so rude and disrespectful to us that we chose to pay our bills and leave. We took our patronage to another place. wow I can see that my friends were being a little loud they were not being rambunctious or excessive and anyway.this place should think about how they treat their patrons and realize that not everybody in their bar is drinking. I was very disappointed by the bouncers actions and I will not return.

My gf and I were celebrating St. Patty's Day weekend with other revelers in the streets of Dunedin. We got bored with Ole Irish song and dance and wanted to shake our booty. We walked down to the Blur Nightclub and for $3.00 danced our bootie's off. The music was pumped and the mirrored wall allowed everyone to show off their "SoulTrain" dance steps. Needless to say, we had a great time. BTW we are both in our late 50's!

Don't waste your time! We went to Club Blur 6/16 early on a Saturday night. We thought we would dance for about an hour or so and have a couple drinks. We were cabbing it home and thought it would be fun to cut loose a bit. We knew the club wouldn't be packed and we would leave before the "in" crowd came. I think the DJ is named Gus. He was very rude and moody! My husband wanted to make a request. He approached the dj booth and was ignored. I guess the four people in the club was too much for the dj to handle. We decided to make the best of it. My sandal strap broke and I took them off for the rest of the song. I placed them away from anyone. STILL four people in the bar. I was asked to put my shoes on. We left. We were ready to spend some cash in this bar. It would have been a quick 100 bucks for the owner. Too bad. We personally call this bar...Club Blah! Grow up Gus and quit messing up your boyfriend's living. He deserves better.

We had the same experience this past weekend - whoever this guy thinks he is in his big bad t-shirt showing off his arms - less to be desired - ignored us like we were complete idiots! Your bar is not great believe me - Vergil we were told is his name -if this guy is the owner - please grow up! Nice place but his attitude makes you not want to even walk in the door - get over yourself buddy! We told the bouncer another one who did not seem to care -
