Spent a beautiful day walking the trails, geocaching and enjoying the weather. Dogs picked up a few ticks so be sure to check yourself when you get home.

Love this park. You can get in a 6 Mike walk free of cars and noise (except for the occasional trail which is actually really nice ). Keep your eyes open foe wild life. Birds, turtles and deer. Koodos to the people who keep this park clean. The trails, the playground and even the bathrooms are always clean.

Great paved trails for walking and biking. Probably roller blading. Do people still do that?I was on the trail for over an hour and only passed four other people. It was a weekday. The park is clean and peaceful.

My girlfriend and I just moved here from Cincinnati, OH. We started about 2 weeks ago walking in this beautiful park daily. It is well kept, clean and pet friendly. We walk about 1 and 1/2 miles daily. It is just around the corner from our house about 1/2 a mile.

Southwest of downtown Deland, Lake Beresford Park is popular getaway spot for both residents and tourists. The tree-lined trails are inviting with their various lengths designed for different levels of running, biking or walking capabilities. Lake Beresford is visible on the west side and Blue Springs Park is accessible after a pretty good hike. Picnic tables and benches are scattered throughout for gatherings or conversation. Plan to take time here to enjoy a leisurely stroll.

The park contains many trails designed for walking, running, biking or horseback riding. The park connects with Lake Beresford and Blue Springs State park. The park contains clean restrooms and a children's playground area with covered picnic tables.

Great paved bike trail that is shaded and hilly and goes to Blue Spring State Park. Wildflowers and wildlife are wonderful.

We love to run and bike on the two mile loop. You can also take a back trail to Blue Springs (about 3.3 miles one way); it's perfect during manatee season.

To bike here and watch the sunset over Lake Beresford is a must. At first it's a bit hard to navigate - the trails seem to go parallel to the lake rather than towards it - but just after passing under the railroad tracks you'll see there's an unpaved trail though the woods to the lake. Coming from the North, the experience of approaching the lake at sunset, seeing the light shine through the palm trees and Spanish moss was almost otherworldly.

We loaded our bikes up and headed to Lake Beresford Park. It was a lovely, well cared for park that featured benches along the 1.8 mile loop. We biked the loop and it does have a few hills that made it a challenge for this overweight office worker :-) There was also a lovely park for young children. I felt safe while on the path. We will plan to return to access the Rails to Trails pathway.

Great park for kids, but is super hot in the summer. Great walking and biking trails. The bathrooms have been broken for a few months so they only had porta potties the last 2 times we were there.
