Stetson has a great academic reputation, but if you're reading here, you're looking at places to see. Several 100 plus year old buildings make up the core campus and the landscaping is simply spectacular. Definitely worth a stop, especially if you're an architecture fan.

I love this campus! It's more like a park than a university. Giant, old trees everywhere. Beautifully landscaped. Historic buildings. Very Zen. Don't miss the Museum of Art and Stetson Mansion. Lots of great places to eat in the area also. Totally worth a trip to DeLand.

Love visiting this campus. Very quaint. We were there for a football recruiting visit and really enjoyed the trip. My personal preference is to stay in Daytona Beach and make the 15-minute drive to Deland.

There is so much beauty everywhere you look and the history of the Mansion is a real gem for Deland and Central Florida.

My daughter graduated from this university in 2006, got a good job and has done very well since then. The education is exceptional and a good investment. Small classes with successful business and professional people with actual real world experience at successful & well know companies

Came with high school students for a choral festival. Very Old and new buildings, The old ones, well smelled VERY musty and had very few bathrooms. The library and other newer buildings were fine. Everyone was very friendly and a beautifully landscaped campus and dorm setting.

We were here last weekend for an Open House with our son, who is a high school junior. Both his orchestra and vocal directors highly recommend the music program. It is a beautiful campus nestled in DeLand, lots of trees and wonderful old architecture. It's a small private college so class size allows for much individual attention from the professors. I was impressed that over 97% of those who teach here have a PhD.All the students we interacted with were polite and highly enthusiastic about going to school here. We left with a very good first impression.

Founded in 1883, Stetson continues to set the standard for excellence in medium sized, private universities in Florida. Its four colleges provide high quality education in various fields for its 4,100+ undergraduate and graduate students. It is a campus alive with activity during the academic year, including a full menu of activities beyond the classroom. The drive north from downtown Deland along a beautifully canopied street leads into an expansive campus that is blessed with a interesting, integrated architectural motif that envelopes all of the buildings. Pathways crisscross well maintained lawns among the numerous buildings. While a drive through the campus will introduce you to Stetson, it is more enjoyable to park and take a stroll to get the full flavor of the University. Introduce yourself to a student or faculty member to get a better sense of what is going on.

Since it was a holiday weekend, we didn't get into the art museum or any of the buildings, but found the campus a pleasant place to walk and the architecture was quite interesting.

My friend's son goes there for Environmental Science. We visited the campus today. Very nice campus and dorms.

Stetson is the oldest private college in Florida and is steeped in history. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. It is a nationally ranked liberal arts college.

We did the university tour today and were very impressed. Wonderful architecture, beautiful grounds, and a really interesting history. Stetson has 2 art galleries and a huge library. Student life looks great, complete with a heated pool, work out facilities, and a huge dining area. Definitely going to have my son apply. Hope to be back soon!

My son is heading into his senior year at Stetson and it has been a great experience for him and for us. He is an international business major and studied abroad in Madrid last semester, which was a wonderful experience for him. They have been very flexible with his classes to keep him on track for graduation and the professors are usually very accessible for help. The campus is beautiful and the town is very quaint with wonderful restaurants. There is a great bed and breakfast south of Deland that we stayed in for Parents Weekend and it was a really well kept place with a great breakfast.

I enjoyed my time at Stetson and learned a great deal. My only complaint is the price...the amazing part is that it keeps going up each year!

Stetson has a real sense of charm to it with a nice blend of a classic looking architecture and modernity. The campus is beautiful, easily walkable - and, it is a short drive to the historical downtown area. It looks like a lot has been done more recently to upgrade and expand the physical facilities. The campus and the surrounding neighborhood with several well preserved older homes makes a nice choice for a day trip.
