While it is a free park, local tourist maps and the name of the street make this park sound like it has a special connection to the TV show I Dream of Jeannie. There is a sign at the entrance to the park that stated Barbara Eden visited Cocoa Beach (where I Dream of Jeannie was located, though filmed at Sunset Gower Studios and Columbia Ranch) in 1969. No other connect to the show could be located. Only come here if you want to use the dog park or park and go to the beach.

Wanted to spend an hour on the beach. Found this park on A1A. Free parking, clean restrooms, nice Boardwalk to the beach. Plenty of places to sit for folks who can't get down to the sand. Life guard on duty. Nice dog park. Nice 1/4 mile Boardwalk thru preserved natural Florida environment.

We did not tour the entire Lori Wilson Park because we had our dog with us; pets are restricted to the dog park. I can tell you that we were very impressed with our morning experience there. There are two sections of the park to accommodate large and small dogs. Our older dog was afraid to go in, so we walked the perimeter. A woman from Pittsburgh spoke to us through the fence and invited us in. When our dog was still hesitant about entering, she brought her dog outside of the park. I was so touched by her kindness! I hope she reads this and knows how grateful we were for her spontaneous act of kindness!

This park is about a mile south of Ron Jon's. It is a county park so there is no charge for parking. It has changing areas, bathrooms, dog park, ocean access, playground and picnic tables. You are close to many things in Cocoa beach also. It can get crowded so try to go early. There are lifeguards on the beach there so it's a good place to hit the beach especially with kids. No animals are allowed except in the dog park which is free.

dont know where all the birds are in Florida lately. Have seen more birders than birds the last ten days we've been here. Flushed a couple rock doves (IE flying rats) in a park near the port, and I can hear a mockingbird from my hotel room, but the signature florida birds have been few. Hope I see a few Pelicans fly over like last year, but not yet (we've only been in cocoa beach one day, so I have hope still). This is a very nice park, with lots of parking, beach access and the neat forest Boardwalk. Well worth the visit.

This is basically a parking lot with a restroom and access to the beach. There is a small playground for kids, but not much else. It is a good place to park and go o the beach though.

This tiny park has a delightful board walk, leading from one parking lot to another, where there is access to the very nice Atlantic beaches, but the woods itself was very quiet when we visited it this week. We went there to see birds, because it was supposed to be a good birding location. Not! We did not see (or hear!) a single bird. If it weren't for the pelicans that flew over, the avian list would have been zero,

On our family vacation We needed beach access that would please an age range from 1-82. This park has free parking, a playground, clean bathrooms, easy beach access, life guards, and a station to rinse off at when you are ready to go home. Everyone is happy!

This is a small neighborhood park with beach access and a dog park. However, of interest to birders would be the short nature trail through a wooded area. Although it yielded few birds this trip, I can anticipate this would be a prime drop-out location during migration season

Visited Cocoa Beach this week. It was only 60 degrees so not really a beach day. Went to Lori Wilson Park, one of the entrances to the park is via I Dream Of Jeannie Lane. The beach was nice and clean and had two bath and changing houses. They also rent lounge chairs and umbrellas at the beach, and also had a food truck the day we visited. Nice place to send a couple of hours at the beach.

We stopped in this park today because we saw a sign regarding "I Dream of Jeanne" and was curious. I never found any information about Lori Wilson is I not sure why the park is named after her. Nevertheless, the park is very nice. Has a fairly decent sized dog park. Wonderful walk to the beach.

There are two parts to this park. The first is the family park area and beach access. They have slides and climbing for younger kids. A great place for them to burn off excess energy from traveling for long distances. This area was very clean and well maintained. The second area was a dog part. They had several fenced in areas that dogs could run. This area was more for small to medium size dogs. If you have an Irish wolf hound he might be a little cramped for running space. Overall this is a nice community park. When we were there in the late afternoon it appeared that most of the people were locals and not tourist. This is a plus in my opinion.
