My daughter is a NYC-based actor who spent the summer here and will be going back for a show in July 2014. She loves working there and we loved the show. The theatre is excellent and very comfortable - good seats. The sound and lighting are good. The show we saw was well-done, very professional quality. The price was reasonable and I will definitely be going back. I love the small town of Sullivan, as well. The theatre is on a city square that reminds me of some of the old squares in the southern cities!

You cannot go wrong by taking in a show at The Little Theatre on the Square. The beautifully remodeled venue is comfortable and cozy - not a bad seat in the house. This is a very professional theatre, with lots of Equity performers, but it also gives chances to college students, local kids, and area adults who want to perform and are able to deliver quality performances. The prices are very reasonable, there's a lot of variety in shows (including ones for little kids), you might see someone famous or soon-to-be famous. I saw Les Mis on Broadway and at the LTOS - the LTOS's was better...This is theatre up close and personal!!! Enjoy!!! (And don't forget they don't just do summer shows - the Christmas shows are always nice, too!!!)

We attended the matinee show, Anything Goes," at the Little Theatre in Sullivan, Illinois, in July. It was a light entertaining musical comedy which we enjoyed. Loved the choreography. The costumes were very nice, too.

We went to see Les Miserables and was so enthralled with it. It was a superb performance. We have never been disappointed with any shows we have seen at this theatre. I highly recommend this as a place to go.

I have gone here ever since I was a little kid and never tire of it. It's as good as anything you will see at the Muny or Fox!

I have been to The Little Theatre several times in the last couple of years. Every performance is fantastic. It's the only theatre in this area where you can see quality stage performances. I can't wait until next year :)

Adults and children both love the Little Theatre. From award winnng plays for adults to Childrens's summer theatre, these actors perform with everyting theyve got! Actors stand outside on the sidewalk in the heat to sign autographs after the childrens summer plays. Every year we take our grandchildren to give them an appprecition for the arts as well as enjoying the theatre ourselves!

Saw our second show this year and it was fun. Sorry we could not attend all the shows but the schedule was too full this summer.

We have seen two children's plays here and have loved each one. Last year we learned to say "Purple" when someone sneezed and this year that it is ok to talk with your mouth full (at least if you are a pirate). Thanks for providing such great entertainment!

Although we have gotten lax on attending the past couple years, I still have thoroughly enjoyed nearly all of the many shows I've attended in the past. A true jewel for the area for those who would rather see live entertainment instead of a movie or TV.

My husband and I have now visited this theatre twice, making the trip from about 25 miles south of Chicago. The plays were fabulous both years - Annie and The Producers. The actors were top notch and put on such a wonderful play. The employees are very nice, as well. We enjoyed the people of the town and took a day trip to Sullivan. All in all, it's a great place!

Wonderful place to see live theatre. Great selection of shows for the whole family!

This is a small theater in a small town. The plays have always been good. I started going in 1973. At that time there were "stars" who were in the plays. Most of the stars were soap stars. I actually started watching Days of Our Lives in 1974 after seeing a play that John Clark, aka Mickey Horton, stared in. Mickey Horton has passed away on the show, but I am still a Days fan. Now at the Little theater, they just have local talent. The original owner of the theater was Guy Little, so the name is very fitting.

I have seen multiple shows here. They are always well done. Good talent, nice theater, always enjoyable.
