The mall is great. Very big and has a lot of variety. The only thing I disliked was how confusing it was to get around. There wasn't enough directories and too many stairs and escalators when you have a stroller. We kept back tracking to find ramps. We really didn't buy anything but that is because the styles out right now are not for me. I might visit again in the future but definitely not bringing my children. It would also be nice to have an actual food court or two too. I didn't like how all the food was so spread out. And parking really blows. We drove around forever looking for a spot. And we needed a handicap spot. Most cars parked in those spots didn't have a sticker or indication that they could park there. Need more monitoring on the parking.

We checked out this Mall on a late Saturday afternoon in the winter and it was crazy busy. It is huge with many levels so you could probably find just about anything although you would no doubt have to walk quite a bit. Nice place and interesting.

It's the best shopping center in the area if you want large with many options! It's always crowded but you'll find anything you are looking for!

This Mall is huge. You definitely need the Mall map. This place has it all. Great stores, restaurants, entertainment..a definite must for a day trip!

The lay out of Woodfield makes it easy to shop as shows are grouped well and in a logical manner. There are also options for lunch or dinner outside of the normal food court. I have never had a problem finding parking even at the busiest time of year. The 2 covered parking lots also provide an excellent alternative in inclement weather.

Went here with my wife and our three year old son. The different levels are a bit strange but I thought it was neat and for my son it was a true adventure. There are a ton of stores at this mall and I like how the restaurants are spread out instead of a giant food court. There are stores for everyone (or at least it seems that way). It was an hour drive for us but well worth it since there are so many stores and an out door shopping center just down the street. Very nice, clean mall that is worth checking out.

Cool layout with multiple walkways joining them in the centre of the mall.Lots of play areas for kids.I am not a fan of the directional parking lanes.

I'm not much of a shopper, so for me, this place is a special kind of torture. The parking lot is huge and always jam packed, so plan on walking a ways to get into the mall unless you happen to get lucky and find a close space. The mall was super crowded when we went. We had promised our three year old a trip to play in the play area because she behaved well at IKEA all day, but when we got to the play area, it was packed like a can of sardines - probably 100 people in there, no exaggeration. I would avoid the holiday vacation weeks due to this. Other than that, it's a huge mall, with a lot of stores.

Visited (first time visitor) on a Sunday late morning, before Christmas. Parking was crazy, and the lot was packed with cars, as well as jerks who apparently were late for something before they got up that morning. If you don't drive at least 10-over the speed limit & pre-plan to be in the correct lane a mile before you need to, prepare to get honked-at, and hacked-off; don't take it personal, its just apparently Chicagoland's way of saying 'welcome'.The mall is large with many stores in a confusing layout; I hoped for a food court, but there is none. Too bad, because while regular visitors probably have favorite restaurants picked out, I wasn't willing to walk the entire mall just to figure out WHAT is there, then double-back to a somewhere that looked interesting. An excursion to the mall during the holidays usually reminds me why I prefer to stay at home and order things online, or visit an easy to access department store like Kohls rather than a mall; this visit stayed true to form. Go if you have a need to overpay for items, fight crowds, or have feel better about life because you shopped at a mall and flaunt name brands…. Go if you have never been here before, just to say you have been there & done that.

Sunday morning the mall was quiet. We were able to get in and out and complete our shoe shopping easily with knowledgeable and friendly sales associates at Ecco and Clarks. Fossil was fun too.

Loved this mall as a kid growing up in the area and still love it as an adult taking my teenagers there! Great stores to shop at and a great selection of items. My teenage boys love to visit Chicago (we live in Florida) just to go to Woodfield Mall. We spent our Thanksgiving evening shopping Woodfield Mall and had a great time. Amazing how many stores they can put in one area for your shopping needs. This mall by far exceeds the expectation that Mall of America does not give you. I want to shop in a mall, not pay to go to an indoor amusement park!

From my understanding it is the biggest mall in the United States. It is huge and well maintained. There are a lot of stores. The layout is a little tough as it is like branches from a center tree so plan your walk carefully or you will walk double distances a lot. Also one drawback is that it doesn't have a food court.

I was here on 15th November, it was full of holiday shoppers... Great outlets, its just that the mall is confusing and there are no signs to show which stores are in the lane... The mall map is also very confusing... You just have to be patient and you will find great deals. Please be prepared to be stuck in traffic after you exit the mall, specially on weekends.
