Paid $4 per person to feed the reindeer and they ran out of food, then I went in to ask for my money back and the lady was rude and lied in my face. I won't be returning and I wouldn't recommend it.

Our family visited Hardy's Reindeer Ranch for this first time this weekend. We did the reindeer tour, which was a little disapointing because it really wasn't a "tour", it just meant entering the fence and getting to pet and feed the reindeer. It was only $3 a person though so I think it was worth it for the kids to get up close and feed them.We also picked out and cut down our own Christmas tree. We were very impressed with how nicely shaped the trees were. There was a great selection and the prices were very reasonable. Everyone was very helpful and made sure we had a straight cut on our tree, drilled a hole in the bottom if needed and shook and baled our tree for us so it was easy to get it home. It was a wonderful experience for our family!

My son and I visited on a Saturday in the Fall. It was a nice place with a variety of activities available. We didn't have much time, so we only purchased a ticket for the reindeer tour and corn maze. "Tour" is a misnomer. All you really do is enter a fenced area that is within a fenced area where the reindeer are. The guide had a bucket of graham crackers and oatmeal that you can use to feed the reindeer from your hand. They are very gentle and you can pet them, too. Next, we went in the Corn Maze. We were limited on time and was hoping to use a map to find our way around. However, they provide no printed maps. We did find 5 of the punch points in less than an hour. And at each punch point, there is a "you are here" map that you can take a picture of, if you really want a map. The paths were easy to maneuver through - We saw a couple of people pushing young kids in strollers. Before we left, we were going to use the restroom, but there is only one stall for both men and women in one of the buildings that I couldn't figure out what the building is actually used for. Because there was a line and we needed to leave, we did not use the restroom. We hope to go back again so we can enjoy some of the other things they offer. I would plan on spending about 2 or 3 hours, depending on how leisurely you do things and how many of the things you do. We were there just over an hour.

Looked online for something to do and found Hardy's reindeer ranch. We figured that wasn't something you see everyday so why not. We got there pre-Halloween rush and on a school day so we got lots of attention from the owner. Great fun, would highly recommend.

A wonderful experience! For $3.00, you can take the reindeer tour. You learn about them, pet them and feed them treats. There is a gift shop on site and a banquet hall where you can reserve a western dinner with entertainment. I can't wait to go again!

We've been here a couple of times over the years, and our teens have been there more often to go through the corn maze in the fall. It's neat seeing the reindeer and walking around the grounds, through the Christmas tree farm, but there's not really a whole lot to do there otherwise. Still, it's neat to visit at least once.

We love to stop in whatever season it is. There is always neat things in the gift shop, and new reindeer to meet. The kids learn something new every time. Its just a few dollars a person to go into the pen and feed the reindeer and the kids just love it.

My wife and I took our three grandsons and nephew (all 5-8 years old). Had fun petting and feeding reindeer, running through remains of cornfield maze, driving pedal cars, and browsing their giftshop. A truly unique experience for this area!!

I have been taking my grandkids to the reindeer ranch every December for the last 6 years. It's become a family tradition for the holidays. The ranch is easy to find, west of I-57 in Rantoul, Illinois. There is a great gift shop and every year I manage to find something I can't get anywhere else. In the gift shop you can purchase tickets for a meet and greet with the reindeer. A worker will meet you at the gate and let you into an area that is fenced but allows you the see the reindeer and also to feed them treats that the worker provides. The reindeers are friendly and the worker talks about them and takes questions. My grandkids never grow tired of this experience. In the last few years they have added a new building where they serve food and some really good hot chocolate. This is a great time for young and old alike.

This offers a gift shop and there are reindeers to see there too. We always go during the month of Dec. as a holiday event with our kids. During other times of the year they offer other activities to meet the seasons.

Just a fun place to go and see reindeer, and eat really good food.

Pretty cool, especially for children. Nice gift shop and cafe. There's a train that runs around the gift shop at balcony level. My grandson was fascinated.

My husbands work had a company trip to the Reindeer Ranch. We had an amazingly fun time doing the corn maze. I have never done one quite like it! We got all 8 punches in 45 min!! We did the shooting gallery and went on a short tractor ride of the grounds which was ok. I wished we would have went on the reindeer ride but I think it was too late for them. Lastly dinner there was good. The company arranged for them to have a vegetarian option because many people are vegetarian but I'm not sure if they typically have a vegetarian option, others said the BBQ pork was good

Everyone at the "Ranch" was extremely kind. The tour was very informative and fun. We all loved "kissing" the reindeer especially my 12 year old son. Definitely a once in a life time event! The shop and other facilities are beautifully constructed and maintained.
