This is a great place to watch the skydiver come down and they have a place ground and picnic. Great place to spend a afternoon in the summer

Took 4 first-time jumpers there and they all loved it. Staff was very professional and made everyone comfortable. Reservations were made online and easy to do. Would definitely recommend spending the extra money for the video and pictures. Only downside to video is the Skydive Chicago advertisement at the beginning, so you don't actually get as much video of your experience. Pictures are all stills from the video.

This place was great. I was organizing a small group trip for first-time jumpers and got this recommendation from a professional skydiver friend. Indeed I found this place reputable and professional.The booking process was great for groups especially, with a convenient interface for group bookings. Additional people could join the group later using the provided group code, making it easy to add additional jumpers later.Upon arrival we got a quick rules lesson and were shown a video about the liability info. We were also briefed on the safety and procedures in the hangar and on the plane prior to jump.Instructors were extremely experienced (military experience or similar) and did many checks to ensure all the equipment was in order. They also offered to let the jumper participate in parachute opening or just enjoy the ride.On a Tuesday the crowd was mainly independent jumpers. The schedule is set so that a plane takes off frequently and other tandem jumper groups did not end up in our plane. The plane is just big enough for about 20 jumpers.Equipment seemed in great condition, with jumpsuits available upon request. The location is great, with a lovely view of cornfields. It also has an in-house deli for lunch or snacks.Highly recommended place for a first jump!

Wanna go for a dive check this place out!! They will have you free falling in no time. Excellent staff very helpful and always makes sure you have safe landing!!

OK so maybe not as I'd probably never do it again but what an experience. Having done it I now know what would make me nervous. But so glad did it and glad did it here. Easy enough to reach from the motorway and a nice modern facility. Recommend getting the skydiver cameraman/woman to go too. Yes it's more money but you save for moments like this. Everything is handled professionally but there is also plenty of humour and the staff are part of the experience. Especially as you are strapped to one of them in the air. As someone scared of heights, or more accurately, scared of falling from heights this shouldn't have been for me. But I think it cured me of that fear? The bit I didn't like is when you are turning the parachute left, right , 360 after freefall (motion sickness). The landing is fun and you get your movie quickly. Can't compare it to othe placs but as a stand alone experience 10/10.

Nothing like jumping out of a perfectly good airplane at 13.5 MSL. Holy poop this was my first skydiving experience but man what a thrill!!!! Suiting up, hand signals, boarding the plane, then jumping O-U-T and free falling. Seeing downtown Chicago, mazes made out of corn, and just the sound of the wind. Booyah. Would highly recommend (no pun intended) this for a first time adrenaline rush. Make sure you get the video and pictures it is well worth the memory. Ask for Anthony and Bill to do your jump and shoot the video you will be happy for along time.

I have never had the guts or the money to try this: but have watched the planes take off and the people parchute back to the field. I have witnessed a team of skydivers walking their routine out on the ground to eliminate any mistakes in the air before putting on their chutes and boarding the jump plane.

Go out to Skydive Chicago for a Tandem jump or take their "AFP in a Week" course! Experienced! Friendly! Exciting! Their facility offers memorable skydives with knowlegable instructors. Relax on the sandy beach by the pond, enjoy friends and family with a meal at "Eat Up" their cafe! If you are a fun-jumper, you will not find a more inviting place to skydive with your friends! From the 2 twin engine Otters, to the world class Load organizers! Boogies, Canopy classes and many USPA rating courses available right on site, makes SDC the best place to spend your time in both the sky and on the ground! With warmer temps comes the opening of the Tiki hut down by the beach! Enjoy beautiful sunsets and a great meal el fresco! Skydive thier once and you will be back again and again!

So some friends and I wanted to spend memorial day at the skydive Chicago premises, we called ahead to make sure this was ok , we've jumped many times before so we knew their policy very well and we didn't want to drive all the way down there and be rejected, the lady on the phone was super sweet and very kindly explained that we could spend the evening there without having to jump. She said we just needed to check in once we got there. So we get there and there was this lady at the front desk, very rude and I sensed she was being kind of racist....she said there must have been a misunderstanding that there was no way we could spend the evening unless we jumped.... She started arguing and fighting about it and i just had to walk away. They all need to be informed of their policies and give customer a better service specially if you enjoy skydiving because we all know that it's not cheap!!! They certainly lost 4 loyal customers today!!! We will never go there again!!!

I have jumped twice with them and so have my children. They are experienced to the hilt and make for a memorable, fun, exciting experience.
