Great place to practice your putts, chips for free. Also, good introductory golf lessons for a small group.

Steeple Chase is a managed by Mundelein Park District. A challenge for all levels, the course is well bunkered and has many protected wetland areas. Nice greens in the summer, fast and firm. Always trying to improve the looks and play of the course, grounds crew keeps the course in better than average shape. Golf carts have GPS. Reasonable rates for Mundelein residents however a bit pricey for all others. Another drawback is there is no driving range. Those wishing to warm up can use the hitting net or use the range at a neighboring course. Staff is helpful and friendly. Worth playing at least once.

The golf course is in a good location where it is. On a semi-busy road near a popular strip mall where many people are. The course itself is challenging with sand, water and many trees along the sides of the rough. I would recommend Steeple Chase for anyone who likes golf and for anyone who likes challenging courses.

This course can be a challenge on some holes, especially 10. The course is well maintained. The green fees are within the range of this area. The grounds keepers do great job, even early in the season. Weekends are very crowded so a little hooky from work may be in order. Carts are in good shape and I have never had a failure. People are very friendly. I can't comment on the eatery or the bar since I usually have to head back to work. This course is by a Del Webb housing development so start early to miss the crowd.

Great scenary with lots of challenges for the average golfer. Staff is outstanding. Bring lots of golf balls. Tough but fair.

The setting is a bit tacky. The bar was poorly run and drinks were generally sloppy. They could open a beer OK. All in all, I'd go out to some place else after my round.
