I've been to many of Marriott's productions over the past several years and have never been disappointed. They continuously have top-notch performances for very reasonable prices - and the location is very convenient for suburbanites compared to going downtown. Great seats from almost anywhere in the theatre.

not the same value in the hotel as Hampton INN down the street ! Intimate musical theater, free parking, very talented local performers

I have been a subscriber to this theater for nearly 20 years. The Marriott Theater always puts on great performances, and "The King and I" was absolutely outstanding. The selection of performers for this play was perfect, the solos fantastic, and I loved every minute of this performance. I highly recommend this theater.

My mother and I recently went to see the King and I which was performed at The Marriot Theater. The theater is a theater in the round, which is amazing and there was not a bad spot in the house. We had 2nd row seats so we were right up in the action. The acting was phenomenal. We are already planning our trip back for the 2015 season.

The Marriott Lincolnshire Theater is a great Lake County cultural offering. While the theater usually tends to productions of classic musicals, sometimes the company explores more adventureous material. Not a bad seat in the house. Well worth the trip.

We had dinner and theater package. It was fun even though I didn't really love the musical we saw. Great to just do something different while seeing the in-laws for Christmas.

There are no bad seats at this theater. We sat in Section 2 and were on the left side aisle. We got lucky enough to have most of the cast running past us during the production. My 5 year old niece got to see Glenda, the Good Witch up close as she was coming up and down the aisle several times. These are great seats if your child really wants an up close view of the actors/characters. I would select Section 4 if you need to be close to the entrance and bathroom. Section 1 is below the orchestra. No bad seats, but some more strategically attractive depending on what your needs are. At the adult productions, I do prefer to sit in Section 4 near the entrance and bathrooms. It's an easy exit for those of us wanting to get out quickly.

This is a "theatre-in-the-round" location that stages seriously good productions almost all year. Sound and lighting is first class. Got live band (pit) behind a darkened glass area. My wife and I have seen excellent shows. Ticket prices are $50+ or so. Good parking and easy to get to on Milwaukee avenue.

Loved the intimate setting of theater in the round and the cast was good. Enjoyed the Kind and I. The theater was the best part of our package that was purchased as a gift for us.

The theater is in the round so it is always easy to get a good seat. Most of the productions are quite professional and enjoyable but once in a while there is something not worthy of your time. Check online for reviews. There are dinner packages you can purchase with your theater tickets for certain performances and the restaurants are pretty good with pleasant service. Also, there are nice bars in the hotel for a post theater beverage.

Just saw The King & I at the theatre. One of the best productions there in a long time. The entire cast excelled. Staging and choreography was fabulous. Do not miss this production!

As a subscriber to the Marriott theatre for twenty plus years, I am always impressed with the talent they are able command. All of their performances are top notch. No matter what show they are doing, you are guaranteed a first rate experience.

We saw "The King and I" and stayed at the Marriott Resort for our anniversary. The show was great. The theater is small, but intimate, and there isn't a bad seat in the house. The show is performed in the round, so the seating surrounds the stage in the center. We really enjoyed the show and are already planning on going back in the spring for another production.

There is not a bad seat in the house in the "round" here. Not only can you see from everywhere but the seats are very comfortable with plenty of legroom. Rare these days! We saw the King and I last night and it was superb. The choreography was wonderful - everyone being able to see, making the most of every inch of the stage. The singing was fantastic. Sometimes when you go to non-downtown theaters, the singing isn't as good but there wasn't a weak link in the cast in terms of talent. We have attended many shows here over the years and are very impressed with the professionalism of everyone involved. My husband and I agreed this production (King and I) might be their best. We highly recommend you discover or re-discover the Marriott Theatre - their productions are consistently wonderful - and maybe do so before the King and I ends!

A theater in the round which has no bad seats or obstructed views. Acoustics are fine and you sit close enough to the stage even if you are in a back row. The music was good and could have been improved on with the use of a live orchestra. However, there is no room for anything like an orchestra pit.The seats are roomy and comfy which was needed for a two and one half hour production. (A break of 15 minutes after 1 1/2 hours)Nice experience~
