Yes! How many breweries can say they are on an old alignment (1926-1935) of Route 66? Mother Road is housed in a great old building (an old commercial laundry) on Mike's Pike in south side Flagstaff. Their place is fun, and funky, and they brew GREAT beer (their label art is fun too!). They have a wonderful little bar with very cool vintage car radiator ornament taps. They have a sweet patio that is a great place to unwind after work or on the weekend. The folks who work there are nice, personable and willing to answer questions- and maybe even give you a tour.If you are traveling Route 66 this is a must-stop in Flagstaff. It is very easy to reach if you are eastbound, and from South Beaver Street if you are westbound (just past Flagstaff's great railroad station). Locals- they know about it already, and the place has devoted fans. They also sell growlers- a great way to have Mother Road at home.Mother Road doesn't serve food, but there are lots of little restaurants within a block or two, including a nice pizza place a couple of doors down.

Enjoyed my tastings here -- chitchatted with locals, and felt very comfortable. I would come back here again in a hot minute.

We stopped in to Mother Road while we were in Flagstaff for an evening. The beers we had here were the best of the 3 breweries we visited. All were good representatives of their type, and most were better than average. The IPAs were not super-hoppy, but had good flavor. They had a cask of their Citra Pale Ale, which had a nice citrus flavor. There is a small tasting bar (that would probably seat a dozen), along with about 10 high-top tables. The entire bar area is right next to the fermenting tanks, which makes it a cool environment. There's also a decent-sized patio, and they had a fire burning on the night we were there. They don't serve food, but you can bring in food from elsewhere. You can get a flight of beers for $1/glass. (I think it's a 4oz glass.) You can get as many or as few as you would like. Our bartender's name was Cedar, and he was very friendly and helpful.

Called in during an overnight stop in Flagstaff. Great atmosphere and excellent value sampling tray - enjoyed all seven beers for $7 then an imperial pint of Citra Roadside for $2.50! Very friendly and informative bartender and the brewers had time for a chat too. Highly recommended.

Amazing atmosphere, from the fresh hops growing around you,to the tasty brews being poured. Take that, and add wonderful live music to complement the mood. It's the perfect combination for a night out.

Great inexpensive flight in the taproom, $5.00 for 20 oz's. I don't drink a lot of beer and don't usually like IPA's, too tart, hoppy for me but the black IPA was really good. I enjoyed all of the sampling. Although the general consensus was the cranberry beer was the least favorite. No dining here, but they do have pretzels and comfy couches.

We visited as we were passing through. The staff was very busy, but they were very friendly. The beers are really good!

We visited Mother Road on June 28 and had a very pleasant experience. This was our second brewery stop in Flagstaff and found the location very charming! We met a friend, who had a dog so this was a good spot & dog friendly! The beer was pretty cheap (I think it was happy hour). My husband and I shared a flight for 6$ and the big beers were only 3$. If you are checking out breweries in Flagstaff, I would definitely make this one of your stops.

We first stumbled upon Mother Road at a beer festival in Prescott last year, and have been hooked ever since. The brewery is in a neat and appropriate setting for Flagstaff, and the beers are great. My favorite is the Lost Highway, a black IPA that I'm convinced is the nectar of the gods. They also mix their brews, including a concoction of the afformentioned Lost Highway and their seasonal White Walls white IPA that they call Gandalf the Grey, which is amazing. If you're in the neighborhood you should stop by, but not too often lest it becomes too busy for me lol.

Stumbled on this with friends and we came back twice. Just great beer and atmosphere. Fabulous place.

Friends recommended that my wife and I check out the Mother Road Brewing Company on our trip to Flagstaff to check out every brewery in town. We happened in on Friday evening, which was great. They had a large party going, including a band. Tried several of their beers, which were good. They even mixed two of their beers together for me and it was awesome. You can't beat a party, live band, and good beer in the brew house. This was the most fun we had at any of the breweries. We also got to watch them load up and take off on the Alpinepeddler.

This is a neat new brewery in Flagstaff. We had tried their beer at a restaurant and it made us want to try it from the source! Cool and very chill tap room. Bartenders were nice and knowledgeable. Their beer is excellent! Can't wait to go back!

This is one of my favorite places in Flagstaff. They brew the beer right there in the same space as the bar, so you feel like you are hanging out in the brewery itself . . . not in a restaurant adjacent to the brewery. Excellent beers on tap. One unique thing they do is create special blends -- one blend is call "Gandalf the Grey" and it is their Porter mixed with their White IPA (very unique). We always have a great time visiting with the owners who are always present and eager to discuss the business with you.

My History: I've been a Reviewer of businesses for 25 years.I've worked in the bar,pub and tavern business, 30 yearsI've been a Small Business Consultant for 25+ years while doing all the above. Now onto the review of The Mother Road Brewing Company, 7 South Mike's Pike,Flagstaff, Az.Never, NEVER have I ever seen a more perfectly operated small business, bar, pub,or tavern. If you come to Flagstaff and do not visit The Mother Road Brewery, don't tell on yourself.Mother Road is unlike any other pub,I've enjoyed, except The Cross Keys Tavern in the 70-90s.Mother Road-"She" doesn't have music (sing if you like)-or food- (pizza steps away)-or TVs. Mother Road- HAS Charm, a Living Room with furniture where friends may chat, a dart board, outside cafe reminiscent of Paris, a basketball court, a separate outside area for smokers.Mother Road has the very best handcrafted, on premises biers, I've tasted since Europe. They change on an unregular basis, as they should, for that makes them just as the lady "She" is.While all of that is so wonderful and alluring, "She" also has the charm of a first kiss, always to be remembered. You get to have EYE TO EYE conversations with others, your spouse, or date. All that is so very wonderful in this day and age of of people only "seeing" shadows of faces. But Mother Road also has thee most intelligent, Street Smart, customer pleasing Humanist, I have sever seen, outside of the now late Gib Allen, my first employer in Chillicothe, Ohio. Her name is "Sharon" aka "Miss Red". By her side is a son, Dedar ,young in years, but aged in Customer Service, by his mother. The best working together team since the likes of "Laurel & Hardy" "Burns & Allen".Every small business owner needs to visit Mother Road-sit and observe how they operate.Congress should come--sit-drink-keep quiet, watch , take notes and oh well, they'd screw it up.When you come to visit this lady turn off your cell phone and just love being with the new people you'll meet , your date, your spouse----or come and remember the one you should not have lost. You shan't find, anywhere, another place such as "Mother Road Brewing Company", or Miss Red.In closing, "She" had me from "Hello"
