浏览Rim trail相当容易,很适合时间较短的游客参加,巴士每站几会停,使用巴士就能参观大部分景点,欣赏大峡谷的伟大。

This is a great stable hike. Sunset and sunrise are very busy however, especially around the visitors center. If you have time, take a hike to Hopi point, which is less crowded and offers a stunning view of the resort area on the way up.

It you have 3-4 hours, do this hike. Take time to stop off at each view point. Take a sack lunch , snack and waters. Otherwise, there is free park bus that will take you to each view point.

What an awesome couple of days - I have no doubt in my mind, there is a God - as I walked the south rim last night, I noticed that at every turn , angle of view, and every step there was something different and awe inspiring. It is very similar to life -if we allow God to be in charge of it. At every turn, angle of view, and every step, he has something for us that can be truly awe inspiring. Our vision of these moments is typical hidden in the fog of what the world has to offer. I made a decision at Christmas not to live in the fog anymore. It has been a awe inspiring journey so far. It is great not to be in the fog anymore.

We walked from the South Kaibab Trailhead back to the village where we were staying. This was a pleasant mostly level walk on a paved trail. Only two warnings:1) it will take you twice as long as you think as you will spend more time stopping and gawking than walking.2) the squirrels are more aggressive in looking for handouts than any others I have even encountered. One of them literally jumped up on my wife's lap. (I get the impression that perhaps people are feeding them a little....)

Take this trail and your camera to get your perfect Grand Canyon pic. Walk out on some of the rocks, and it looks like you're hovering above the canyon. It's an easy walk/hike.

Easy walking along the rim. Many overlook vat age points wheelchair accessible mostly gets mashed into busy core area and a lot of foot raffia but easy and great access. Food court off trail near back country office and very crowded ice cream and drink counter at center area near lodge.Have to pay national park fee to get in though was free for president's day weekend

Took a quick trip to the Grand Canyon and even though it has been pretty warm for this time of year it wasn't so much here. Be prepared. Dress warm and undress if you get hot! Loved the rim trail, easy walk to and from both ends of the trails with magnificent views. Was really impressed at the good, healthy and PALEO options at the little food store, as well as the book store. Can't wait to come back to hike to the bottom!!

The walk along the rim is beautiful and safe. It connects you to many points, shops, several restaurants and hotels. This trail is good for everyone to walk.

We parked the car at Mohave Pt and walked to The Abyss ... Beautiful views of Colorado River, many 'sitting spots' right on canyon edge to sit and soak up the atmosphere in total quiet.

After the long drive to the Grand Canyon, we craved some hiking. In winter, the Rim Trail from Bright Angel to Visitor Center is not crowded, easy to hike, and beautiful. Loved stopping at geology center! It would be nice to have an additional bathroom heading from there back to lodges.Nice benches open for a rest, or for meditation, if you don't mind folks walking by occasionally. In summer, it's much more crowded and benches are often occupied.Beautiful with the cloud inversion filling the canyon, looking like comfy marshmallow mattresses. Rain stopped, sun came out, and the clouds cleared partially during our hike, allowing the canyon's depth to be revealed.

Whether you are using the hop on bus shuttle to get from point to point or walking the rim trail there are awesome breath taking views anywhere along the trail. Most is paved but some is gravel. You would need good walking shoes if you are planning to walk a great deal of it as the gravel can be a little much if only wearing thongs or sandals. As well make sure you have a hat and water with you as it can be hot and although the shuttles come quite frequently best to have something to quench the thirst.

Early morning, with the sun just starting to tinge the canyon's rocky outcrops, the walk was serene with just the occasional birdsong to break the silence. The well-spaced geological infopoints along the way were not only fascinating but were really effective as a retro-chronological time-trip.

Walked the Rim trail on the way to Kaitbib trail. I was amazed at how few people we saw. Made for a nice, quiet walk, but it is a shame that most people only stop for pictures at the major stopping points. If you're going to the GC, soak it in and stay awhile.

Easy access, food and shops along the way or you can bring your own. Plenty of roaming space and you can move about at your own pace.
