Abandoned, front door smashed in and entire area vandalized. Dont even get close to this place. Complete waste

The building is closed. But for those that like to see ruins or other sites, it does have the biggest dream catcher I've ever seen so worth a quick stop. It was so windy and still standing. Also visible is where the longest map of Route 66 used to be. The boards are mostly down.

I went out to "Meteor City" with the specific goal of going here. When I arrived on a Saturday afternoon, I was the only car there. Turns out the trading post closed at the end of December 2012 (don't be fooled - the sign on the door still says open and come in! haha). It's still there though if you want to go for a drive, take some cool pictures and stick your head around the fence. Not sure how much longer it will be there in the condition that it's in (sadly, the "world's longest map of route 66" is already falling) so get it in while you can.
