The owners have brought this historic landmark theater back to life with the help from donations from tourists and shoppers. It is so fascinating to sit down and watch a movie about Jerome in the original Liberty Theater. Please leave a donation. All donations go to further restoration. On my visit the were working toward installing the pipe organ they rescued. The town council didn't want the theater, they wanted a retail shop instead. So the theater also has a gift shop downstairs with a lot of retro film oriented merchandise.Parking in the town is limited so park in the lots provided and enjoy the walk through the vintage town and be sure to visit the Liberty Theater! *Be advised, Jerome is a historic mining town built in the late 1800s so many areas are not wheelchair friendly - the gift shop is accessible but the theater is up several flights of stairs.
