The museum is adjacent to Robins AFB. it is huge and needs time to visit. The exhibitions serve as backdrop for ceremonies and special events.Very educational.

This place is so cool. You get to learn a little history as well as you get to see some aircrafts. If you are looking for something cool to do in Warner Robins, try this Museum of Aviation.

With kids or a couple or just needing a break from a business trip, this place will astound you. Pick your era of aviation and wallow in the history and awe that these planes create. One of my favorite places I ever stumbled upon.

Definetly a must see if you are in the area. It's one of the only things to do in the area actually but worth it non the less.

Recently, I had my 3 nieces here in Warner Robins visiting from California. I asked if they wanted to go to the Air Museum and the response was well....ok.. All 3 are very inquisitive and after sitting in the F-4 simulator and playing with the electronic countermeasure equipment I couldn't get any of them out of the museum. The only way I convinced them to stop playing was to tell them I was taking them to the museum store and again they were thrilled with the gifts store. So all in all I think I surprised all 3 of them and they had a wonderful time. After spending 26 years in the AF myself this is a really nice museum to see as it takes you back 70+ years in aviation history.

the exhibits rotate, the docents are very good. If you like airplanes, it is a good way to spend an hour or two.

Had a family reunion this past Spring in Warner Robins and decided to have it at the Museum of Aviation - lots of great exhibits for kids and adults alike. Glad it was in the spring when it was cooler because a lot of the bigger planes are outside and would be devastating in the summer when it is so hot. Picnic area was clean and the toilets were clean. Nice play area for the kids. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. And it was FREE!

This is a beautiful museum full of the finest pieces of aviation history. From the B-1 Bomber and B-52 Bomber outside to the SR-71 Black bird and the RQ-4A Global Hawk inside you will be blown away. The museum is free to the public and located right outside the Warner Robins Air Force Base. The museum is for everyone even if you are not a aviation enthusiast you will find many interactive displays and pieces of history through out the museum. I highly recommend visiting the museum. It is a must if you are in the area.

My son and I loved it we got in a f15 eagle cockpit.and we got in a Huey helicopter that was a treat. The sir 71 blackbird was cool to look at. They have the b1 bomber right at the front door.when you go in the front door there's a f15 eagle . a lot of cool stuff to do and see.
