I have been here a couple of times and its quickly becoming one of my fav places in Georgia - (minus the "Join the Sons of Confederate" signs along the way :-/ ) Nevertheless, not being one who's easily deterred easily, I have even stayed in one of the houses that you can rent for the night! The 3 bedroom house we stayed in was right by the lake and simply lovely. It's home away from home, beautifully decorated, all the modern conveniences, and extremely spacious! The nightly rent is reasonable making it perfect for a quick get away. The wonderful staff even came by at night and started a fire in the outside pit that is in the backyard, where we had smores! My most recent visit was 3/14/15 to their first annual Dolly & Me Fashion Show & Tea Party!!! This affair cost 25.00 per person and it sold out! I'm so glad I got my grand daughter, her aunt and a few family friends tickets because this was priceless, not to mention memorable! Rock Ranch didn't miss a beat! The endless great finger food consisted of: Tiara shaped cut finger sandwiches - choice of peanut butter or pineapple cream cheese, fried mac & cheese fritters, bbq meatballs, fresh baby carrots with ranch dressing, assorted home made cookies, pink sugar topped marshmallows, pink lemonade flowing from fountains, sweet tea, and fuffy butter creme iced cupcakes!!! They had more than enough food and each reserved table was adorably set. I could go on & on raving about this event, but I strongly suggest you simply make plans yourself if you have a special little girl in your life that you would like to create such a perfect memory with. You won't regret it.

The Rock Ranch has everything a Family would enjoy, from eating, zip lines (my favorite),fishing, music, picnics, dancing, visiting the small scale town and jail and swimming or just getting wet in the streams. FAMILY REUNIONS OR COMPANY GET TOGETHERS,YOU WON'T GO WRONGHERE. Everyone that I met here treated me like Family. The Rock Ranch has open fields and you can see the cattle, ponds and walking around gets you back in touch with Mother Nature.

We have been to The Rock Ranch on several occasions. Last weekend we went to The Polar Express experience. I have to tell you....it far exceeded my expectations! They go the extra mile every time. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I have recommended The Rock Ranch to so many people. It isn't just a fun place to visit. It truly is a place that is about growing healthy families. We can't wait to go back!

We were invited to check out The Rock Ranch from them. What we did not expect was that we were going to fall in love with this place and talk about it all the time! We got there around 1 (3 hours after they open) and we stayed until closing time (8pm) As we left, we already had plans to return. From the family dodgeball to the corn maze, the petting zoo to Tiny Town. I LOVE that this place really does allow family to enjoy time TOGETHER. Everywhere we looked was kids playing with their parents. It was awesome! We have already gone back again... and this is an hour and a half drive - each way! If you are looking for family fun -- PLAN A TRIP NOW!!!!

This was just good, clean, family fun. The ranch is beautiful. We were there for a special event, Pumpkin Destruction Day, the day after Halloween. It was a blast...literally. We cheered as pumpkins were shot from a cannon at targets, such as an old, battered, RV. We smashed pumpkins ourselves, dropping them from atop cherry pickers, pounding them with sledgehammers, or hurling them onto spikes. There were many stations where you could have fun doing something destructive, without any guilt. The pumpkins were being readied for feeding to livestock on the property. So it was all for a good cause. Our son enjoyed hours of vigorous dodgeball in a court made of rolled hay bales. We preferred strolling around, and we happened upon a stand with the best funnel cakes we've ever tasted. The Holstein, with bananas, chocolate sauce, ice cream and powdered sugar, really takes the double funnel cake to new heights. But for $12, it should. Permanent fixtures at the ranch seem to be the super-nice pedal-car race track; pony rides; slides that go through a hill; petting zoo animals that seem quite pleased with their lot in life; a carousel (you pay a little extra to ride); a climbing wall and a zip line that looks beyond thrilling (both also for an extra charge) and Tiny Town, which delighted our littlest one, as she explored a small "city' of buildings just her size. At the end of the day, the kids said they'd prefer to visit there, more than a trip to Disney World. Wow! That speaks volumes about what really appeals to the spirit. Given the choice, your kids, too, just might prefer good, old-fashioned, wholesome activities to the over-commercialized theme parks we've been trained to believe they crave.

What a fun place for the family. Rock wall, Zip Line, fishing, paddle boats, bouncing pillow, and more . . . oh yeah - the corn maze. The kids had a blast. Food was a little pricey and unless you bring a picnic you will be stuck eating there. They also have camping sites and a wagon you can stay in. Great family fun!

First thing we notice it was the smell of the country side, fresh air, no sound pollution, the ranch is clean, animal enclosure don't smell, the grass is tend with a lot of care, the staff is friendly, its beautiful, from the petting farm, to the bouncing inflatable, to tiny town (they got air conditioning on every tiny building) to the train ride, to our lunch, the time we spend making beautiful memories with out twin toddles was awesome, the price of entrance is cheap compare of what you are getting back, come in shorts, if its sunny a white shirt will help you with the hot humid day, good walking or hiking shoes, hydrate yourself constantly, come with the mind of having lots of fun!!!

My family drove there for Atlanta. 1.5 hours. It was well worth the drive. We went there for strawberry picking with the kids, but we ended up doing a lot more. There are all sorts of attractions for kids, most of them are included in the admission price. The only attraction you have to pay extra is the zip line. However, there is plenty of stuff to do there that is totally free, including paddle boats, a train, inflatables, a miniature old-west town, and more. The strawberry picking was great too. The fruit was ripe and easily accessible. You pay for what you pick by the pound. Check their web site for more info. If you want to go through all of the attractions, you need a full day.

My daughter had been to The Rock Ranch on a class field trip a couple years ago - this was the first time we went as a family. What a nice place! For $10/person you can ride a train, go to a petting zoo, ride ponies, bounce in a bounce house or on a giant pillow, go fishing, paddle boating, listen to music, etc. etc. etc. Best value around. The staff was amazingly friendly (gotta love that Chick fil A "my pleasure"!), the grounds and restrooms were spotlessly clean. For extra $$$ you can rock climb or zip-line - we didn't do either so no opinion. The food was pricey, but you can bring your own. We also stopped at the produce stand, ate delicious strawberry ice cream and bought some great produce. Can't wait to go back in fall (with the free tickets we were given with our paid admission!). Highly recommend.

I'm from GA, but had never heard of this place until recently. It was spectacular. My kids had an absolute ball. There's lots of walking involved, so be prepared for that. We were happy to learn that they offered military discount since my husband is active duty military. Without the discount it is $10 per person, but that covers all activities except the zip line and produce/strawberry picking. You really can't beat that price for everything that there is to do...train ride, inflatables, bounce pad, Tiny Town, paddle boats, fishing, petting zoo, etc. We can't wait to go back. Don't forget to wear sunscreen!

We stayed at the Rock Ranch's Lake Side Cottage. The house is beautiful. The furnishings are new and very nicely decorated. The setting is amazing. There is a deck overlooking one of the ponds. The staff showed true Southern hospitality. I would definitely recommend the Rock Ranch for playing and also for a place to stay.

If you don't mind adding a day to your I75 travel, this is a great stop for kids of all ages. You need at least 4 hours but really, there is enough to do for an entire day. On average days it is not economical to keep all attractions open at the same time. So when you arrive, take note of the schedule of attractions. Take note that you will be doing a lot of walking between attractions. I think the negative reviews are from people who visited during special event days when it was very busy. When we visited on a Thursday in April, it was not busy at all. Also, plan on dinner in the quaint little town just to the East.

My boys 9, 8, and 5 had so much fun! Such a fun day of wholesome fun with the family! Only down fall was that my older boys didn't get to go horseback ride because they were too tall.

If you ever have a chance to experience the Rock Ranch, please take your self, family and/or friends to the BEST 'country fun time'! this place is amazing. We normal go with a combined large group of adults and children and barbe-que and make smores until our hearts are content. There will be lines to most of the attractions as this fun town has been very popular. The place is owned by Chic-fil-a founder! What i like about this 'fun farm' is there is some of EVERYTHING for all ages to see, do and partake! Once you experience this 'farm life' you WILL be back for the next year!! Cost is reasonable and if you frequent Chic-fil-a, they often have $ off coupons to use during admissions. Please visit this amazing place. Oh, if you decide to get a 'camp site', they do 'golf cart drop-off and pick services, especially if you stay until closing! Everyone is friendly!
