Built in 1990, the temple for Lord Balaji of Tiruppathi, is a major Hindu Temple in the Atlanta and its environments. The temple is open fro 9 am to 9 pm every day, and longer on special worship days. It is maintained spic and span and the priests are knowledgable and willing to explain what is happening, as long as they are not engaged at that time in the traditional offerings being made to the various deities on the temple. Several years back, the temple also added a separate temple for Lord Shiva within its vast complex, which also has ample free parking space, and a well-laid out ornamental garden with flowering plants. Well worth for anyone who is in the vicinity and especially for Hindus visiting Atlanta. The temple is well connected by Interstate Highway 75 south from Atlanta - less than 30 minutes drive with normal traffic.
