Friends of ours were visiting GA from Wisconsin and LOT wild animal parks! We rented the van and were glad we did as on occasion, one of the horned animals would bump into the van! We were one of the first vans through the park in the morning so the animals were hungry and surrounded our van! We were hysterically laughing at one point with all the animal heads in our faces and following the van whenever we moved forward! Go in a group, rent the van and buy the food! Enjoy!!!

This was my first date with my wife. It was so much fun renting one of the zebra vans. I highly recommend this Animal Park for grown ups and children a like

My wife and I found the safari online and decided to give it a try. We rented one of the cars offered at the safari and recommend you use one of their cars to avoid damage to your own vehicle. The animals will approach you and we're all friendly and tame. There is quite a variety of different animals at every turn and the experience was worth the cost of admission. The Walkabout area is like a petting zoo but it seemed to have its heyday a couple decades ago. Nonetheless, you will have a great time. The location is a little remote but GPS takes you righ to the front gate. Have a great time! Don't forget your camera.

We had such a great time at the animal safari. We rented one of their vans as I would not recommend driving your own car through the safari. We bought 2 bags of food per person as recommended but could have used a few more. It was so much fun! It was great to see all the animals up close. The walk through wasn't the nicest but they have a wide variety of animals. Definitely will do this again.

I felt sorry for the animals in the cages (depressing) but the safari drive was fun. Lots of hungry animals. Loved listening to other people who didn't have food to give the animals screaming when the animal stuck their head in the cars in front of us. AWESOME! Bring your own towel and rent their van. Don't mess up your car. Explain that to the insurance company (window knocked out by an ostrich foot or ox horn).

This was so much fun, kinda scary, but lots of fun. Buy a lot of animal food and rent their van. The animals can be pushy when coming for food but it is really cool to feed them from up close. Giraffes, buffalo, and pigs are hilarious. The zebra are a bit aggressive. Highly recommend a visit!

The Pine Mountain Safari is a great way to waste time while you are visiting Callaway Gardens. You are able to pet, feed, and get really close to these amazing creatures. However, rent a van, as the animals travel very close to the car. So get ready to know your wild side, and protect your fingers!

Family of 8 went here, 6 Adults and 2 children. Rented their large van, it didn't drive very well, could hardly make it up the small hills. They charge way too much for this outing , the food you buy for the animals is costly. After the drive thru went to the walk thru zoo. I was very upset at the condition of this zoo. The snake house smells so bad you can barely stick your head in and have to hold your breath, it really is disgusting. Lots of empty cages and the animals that are in cages look terrible. These animals should have better conditions to live in. The area where you buy tickets is not very nice either --- had to use restroom-- they were horrible! Nasty and filthy. They really need to clean this place up. I don't think the people that work there care.

My family was visiting and I wanted to take them someplace different. Yes, they've visited with zoo's before, but nothing like this! From the moment we started our safari we were already laughing hard - by the time the drive ended, we had six pack abs from all the laughter. The bigger the group you can take the more fun it is. There were 13 of us and never a dull moment. There are two parts to the experience, the drive through and the walk through. The drive through is much more fun because of ALL the animals you can feed and interact with. The walk through is for animals that have to be behind glass or caged. (This part is more like a zoo)Everyone has to experience this adventure!Tips: 1 - Bring your camera, you will have lots to take pictures of!2 - Rent their van/car. They have buses that will take you through but it's not at your own pace and they are only available during certain parts of the year. It's well worth the extra $20-25 to rent a car or van (seats up to 15) There was a fight that broke out near our car with the animals and their horns were constantly rubbing up against the van, the animals slobber and drool, the food can be messy if dropped in the car, and a zebra smashed into and broke the review mirror. Very good idea to rent their vehicle and not worry about the damage the animals may impose on your car.3 - Buy LOTS of food for feeding! We had 13 people and bought a 50lb bag and it was just enough to get us through the park. In all honesty if you just get a "cup" or "bag" you won't be 100 yards into the park and you'll be out of food!4 - To save money try and buy your tickets online 24 hours in advance, you can save $2 a ticket. You also save if you have a military ID or AAA membership.5 - Also, to save money, pack a lunch. They have picnic tables outside the ticketing area and you can enjoy lunch for cheap!6 - Wear clothes that you don't mind if they get dirty or torn. The animals will rub up on them and the vans/cars that are rented are pretty dirty. 7 - Be careful with watches, jewelry, or dangling items while feeding the animals, they may think its food.8 - The only two animals that you should be aware of are the zebra's and ostrich's. They tend to bite fingers. Throw the food on the ground for the ostrich and either throw the food into the zebra's mouth or on the ground for them to eat.9 - Last but not least, use the restroom before you go through on the drive. Once you are in the park there are no restrooms and you can't get out!!Have fun and enjoy!!

Amazing! Kids loved it! Animals chase you around in the van! My 4 year old had a blast! So much to teach them and they get to see them so close! Hot as heck in summer so plan accordingly. Visit the nature trail also! Lots to see!

My daughter love to feed the animals , it was really fun . I recommend to rent one of the car they have there , my car was very dirty at the end .

The drive thru Safari was very exciting and the animals are surprisingly so close that you can feed and touch them. I would recommend paying the extra $20 to rent a vehicle because animals are sticking their heads out and touching the vehicles as they are passing by. Also vehicles can get dirty or muddy. But the experience is well worth every penny. I fed giraffes, zebras, deer, buffalo, ostriches, and numerous animals I could not identify. Excellent family adventure!

This place is truly amazing! We visited the "safari" 7th of December. Honestly I can't even begin to explain, how amazing this place is! We were staying in the Lagrange area, and the "park" was less than a half hour away. The drive was very beautiful, and we finally understood where the name "Pine Mountain" came from! Upon entering the gates we opted to rent their van(great decision). We had 3adults and 3 children, the price for everything was a little a less than $150(including 4 large bags of food). We were expecting to see a few animals, but never could of imagined being totally surrounded by them! Our "little one" was a little scared but our young teens both said this was there favorite day of our two week vacation. After we finished the drive we did the walk though safari. This was okay, honestly the drive though safari was worth every penny! Hopefully we will have the opportunity to visit again in the future!

Close-up contact with many healthy and well-behaved animals. Beautiful, spacious, well-maintained rolling hills were ideal environment for the animals. Great food in the restaurant...who would guess? Fantastic experience for adults and children!
