Abba House has our annual Fall Fest each year in the fall that is a free event for the community. Kinsey Family Farm has been so generous to let us barrow their pumpkins each year and have expected no recognition in return. Not only do they allows us the pumpkins but they help us load and unload with fabulous attitudes. I am also continually amazed at the kindness and attentiveness that I always receive from the farm staff. Kinsey Family Farms has been such a blessing to the ministry and everyone in it!

We were at the farm last Friday and purchased several trees and shrubs. The staff at the farm was very helpful and patient while we tried to figure out exactly what we wanted. They showed us several possibilities and then we made our decision. All of the Plants have been installed and we are very happy with our selections. Thank you for all of your help.

Thank you for your kind words Melanie! It is always a delight to hear that families are doing the "family thing" out at the farm! That's one of our core goals!!! Have a great fall and enjoy those pumpkins. :)

You sound like a terrific parent TSmith! You certainly have found a knack for enjoying the "individual moments" and that is a fantastic skill to pass along to your daughters. :) Thanks for your support throughout the seasons!!! We will be sure to give Big Kitty a scratch under the chin for you! :)

Thanks Matt! So glad to hear your wife and boys enjoy the farm. But even better is that you clearly enjoy getting outdoors and spending time together! Please feel free to come back and visit whenever you would like . . . and definitely bring those boys . . . the farm is a great place for them to burn off some of that "boy energy"! :)

Our visit to kinsey family farm was worth the drive. My wife and kids look forward to picking out our different style of pumpins each year at the farm. We thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere of the nursery and how clean and organized the place is. You can tell each year this family invests into their farm to improve the customers experience.

The Kinsey Family Farm response to this incident when it initially occurred on Facebook:Wow Mary . . . honestly that comes as a shock to me and is the first I had heard about it. To explain the situation from the other side of the fence, so to speak, there is no specific policy as to dealing with items left in wagons. And the reason for this is because we do have literally dozens upon dozens of wagons that get loaded and left each weekend. Consequently it presents a bit of challenging scenario for us. We can not just leave them full all day as other visitors get upset that there are no available wagons. And at the same time we run the risk of unloading someone's carefully chosen items . . . which is evidently unfortunately what happened in your case. We do have several new staff this year and I suspect it was purely an oversight with ambitious staff trying to do the right thing. I can guarantee you that no malice was intended in the situation and I will discuss it with our staff during our end of the day meeting. I personally am the individual that hires our staff and they are all well rounded, kind and affable individuals. I assure you with complete confidence that whomever made the error is going to feel bad. And I am happy to apologize for the mistake. We definitely don't handle each situation at the farm perfectly but we do try extremely hard to make this a farm where families can come and enjoy spending time with each other and make lasting memories for the holidays. Again I apologize and certainly hope you still have a wonderful holiday season. Thank you for all of your support throughout the previous seasons.Good evening Mary. I did want to follow up with you regarding the incident mentioned earlier. After our discussion at the end of the day with the staff I was informed that evidently this occurred near closing time yesterday. Two of my staff members stated that they each made individual attempts to be consoling but felt as if they were only increasing your aggravation with the situation. My staff understands that if they ever get in a situation where a farm visitor is visibly upset and not open to discussion that they are to walk away and find me personally. Evidently I was occupied at the moment and consequently was unavailable at that time. I apologize for the unintentional disruption of your afternoon. Should you ever care to discuss it with me privately in person rather than publicly via Facebook please feel free to call me at 770-887-6028. Best Wishes,Andy Kinsey

Our son and 2 yr. old twin granddaughters came to see us and we decided we needed to have some fun taking advantage of the perfect fall weather. So off we went to Kinsey Farm for the first time. Can't say enough good things about this picturesque outing. Very welcoming. Lots of wagons to use for the kids and/or your pumpkins. Several areas set up especially for picture taking. Lots of animals (friendliest horse ever), cows, goats, donkey, geese. Very comfortable hay wagon ride winding through the beautiful rolling hills and pond of this tree farm (only $3 person). Jams, jellies, apple bread, cider, popcorn, drinks, for purchase to add to your experience. Lots of pumpkins and gourds to choose from in a covered clean pavillion (with real bathrooms). So impressed by the organization and festive nature. We had a ball. All this, AND spending time with family couldn't have been more of a quintessential fall experience. Kinsey Family...we can't wait to come back for the winter experience.

With all due respect Seth . . . this is not about lost revenue for us. It's all about your daughter and we feel terrible that we upset her. However, our Fall Harvest activities were not opened yet and we were trying to prepare for opening day. We do post our dates and hours for each seasonal event on our webpage, answering machine, and also at the front gate as you enter the farm. Please pass along our sympathy to your daughter for us and feel free to bring her out for a free wagon ride and animal food whenever it is convenient for you! And if you can't make it out for the fall as it is so late in the season please let her know that we have a free pack of s'mores waiting for her at Christmas. :)Sinerely, The Kinseys

We had our daughter's 1 year photos taken here. We also have been to the farm during the fall for hayrides, pumpkins, and hot chocolate. Great family place. Nice areas for picnicking.

Went with 3yo and hubby on a Fri afternoon in Sept. There were 3 other families there besides us. Not too much to do or see, but enough for a nice little stop if you've overdone parks and playgrounds and don't want to spend a lot. We pet some farm animals (horse, goats, cow) that can also be fed crackers (looked like a good amt for $2) and took a hayride ($2/person ages older than 2) that stopped at a lake where we fed *massive-sized* catfish. The catfish food is .50 cents per container, which is plenty to see these small house pets come up for grub! It was really enjoyable. The hayride goes past all of the farm's Christmas trees (baby-sized through ready for cutting after Thanksgiving) which is neat to see and also show a toddler. On the weekends it looks like they'll have more activity and you can buy popcorn, boiled peanuts, and various sweets (some made by a local college student looking to one day have her own bakery). There are also T-shirts, pumpkins, gourds, plants, apples, jams, jellies, honey and sauces for purchase. Staff was all super nice and helpful, especially Rachel. Again, nice for a small and relaxing side trip.

We have gone to Kinsey Family Farm several times. Once during pumpkin time. My parents, grandson and husband all went. We all enjoyed the hayride and feeing the fish. There were some farm animals to pet and lots of photo tempting moments. My 80 year old dad was a champ on the apple shooting machine! We also went at Christmastime and enjoyed it. We even went one time when the farm was not yet actually open for the season. However, and this tells all about this farm, we were welcomed to hang out, walk down to the pond and enjoy the place. We will go back year after year!

Wagon rides, hot chocolate and smores by the fire, goats and a huge selection of trees makes this farm worth a visit.

I usually come to Kinsey Farms to see the great selection of plants and trees. Now I look forward to the opportunity to interact with the goats and horses. This is a gem of a spot, touched by the hand of a special family. Beyond Pumpkin and Christmas Tree season it will make a great day trip with the kids - and pick up a few flowers, shrubs of trees for the yard. Check days of the week that they are open as it varies throughout the year. Food/drinks available for purchase varies throughout the year. It is fairly flat so should be accessible if you can navigate on gravel and a dirt path.

I've not been here for the autumn and Christmas festivities. I went primarily to get some plants and found the prices quite reasonable. There are a variety of bushes, ground covers and trees to select from and they all look very healthy. Anyone interested in paying less than the Atlanta retail nurseries charge should give Kinsey Family Farm a visit. I went on Wednesday (today) and no one else was there but me. Look at the photos I took and judge for yourself. Being more a wholesale nursery, expect gravel road and some mud.
