No matter what the water level or time of year rafting with the staff at Southeastern is always a blast. They are professional but alot of fun. A truly great group of people. Daran Hall was a fabulous guide. She really knows how to handle a heavy raft. Due to the wild nature of the Chatooga river it's reassuring to be taken care of by folks who obviously know their jobs. We had a wonderful time and will return again.

My wife and son went white water rafting for the first time yesterday and the folks at Southeastern Expeditions were fantastic. Eric, Dinah, Andy and the entire team delivered a gold standand experience. Thank you!!

My family and I went rafting with SEE on the class IV section, and it was an amazing expericence! The guides were knowledgeable and fun! We have been once before with another company and in comparison we enjoyed SEE the most. The guides were more friendly, fun, and kept a positive attitude! We definately had a better experience with SEE and will go back with them for our next trip!

We've never been white water rafting. The staff was extremely friendly. We did the class IV rapids on August 28, it was amazing and fun. I was very nervous about the trip but after the first rapid I wan t more and more. Mongo was our guide, he was awesome, professional and very knowledgeable about the river.Treated us wonderfully. He is the best. For them the safety is first. We Never felt afraid. They are a great team. The waterfalls are beautiful, can get off the raft and swim in the river and the final scenary was gorgeous.Lunch was light and great (bread, Pita, Fruits, Cheeses, Hams, vegetables, chips, some nuts and fruit punch juice). Should expect this to be a physical experience. From helping to carry equipment to/from the water to getting in and out of the rafts numerous times between rapids,The only complaint was the cost of photoCD, the photos taken were great, but it was too expensive ($90).An unforgettable experience. This trip was the best so far. Everything was perfect and we will definitely do it again. I'd recommend this trip to anyone.

Captain Darin magnificently navigated my motley crew (and this time we threw in a 74 year old woman from New Orleans) on section 4 for a wonderful Labor Day Rafting Adventure. Besides an excitable and contagious adventure spirit, her commands were clear and consistent. One of our team is a severely autistic young man and another a 13 year old and these guys stayed in the groove.

We had a blast! Our guide Mongo was very knowledgeable and seemed very confidant in what he was doing every step of the way. This river is extremely beautiful and very challenging, I can't imagine doing this without a guide! Everyone in our group had a wonderful time and enjoyed our trip! Especially the lunch on the River!

We have done several guided and non guided trips on all of the area's waters. We went on an all-day raft with Anna as our guide. My son was 11 and my daughter was 17. The guides at SEE are knowledgable, with safety as their top priority. I was nervous because this was the first one my son had been on with some really tough rapids. They educated us all completely, prior to getting in the boat. I loved that we were part of the whole experience by helping to carry the boat/equipment. It helped teach my kids that there are responsibilities, even with things that are fun. Lunch along the way was great, and the teamwork between all our guides was impressive. They interact well with each other and the guests, and make the whole group become a team. We left out with several other families, and felt like we were dear friends by the end of the day.The river was breathtaking, the rapids were thrilling and the whole day was amazing! I highly recommend SEE to rafters of all ages! My husband was a guide when he was younger, so I thought he might be bored with a guided ride. However, he partnered with Anna in leading our boat, and the day was perfect. What a great company, a great staff, a great few hours...loved it! We will be going back, for sure. We want to do the overnight.

You only live once. I'm not the thrill seeking type, but my family wanted to take this trip. We rafted section 3. Our guide knew I was nervous having my family in the raft. Jonathon helped ease my mind and took very good care of my family. I was extremely nervous going over the class 4 rapid but he kept us all in the raft and everyone had a great time. It was a 6 hour trip, a little long, but the kids enjoyed it. I'm glad I took the trip!

Was nervous about taking this trip. I mean I'm from Florida. Slow, meandering streams... So here I am at a white water rafting expedition. My wife's idea. I'm not going to lie, I was nervous. First of all the staff at S.E.E. is truly great. The guide does some practice with you at first put in. Our guide was Christian. I'm pretty sure he ended up with the heaviest and oldest raft of people. I'm a big fella. There were seven all together including the guide. Scenery is beautiful. Guide was unbelievable, always on top of everything , giving commands at those crucial moments, and ready to leap into action for those jaw dropping moments. We did section 3. And for being my first time it was everything I had expected. Very satisfied. Highly recommend. The river was at about 1.3-1.5 water level. Guides made a nice simple lunch. Provided water and fruit punch. And a couple stops to swim and cool off along journey. All I can say is "Bull Sluice"! What an exciting moment! Thanks for the trip SEE and the memories. Good times.

My husband, 13 year old daughter and I came up for camping and rafting from south GA. We traveled down the river with our tour guide, Molly, and she was absolutely amazing. This was mine and my husband second rafting trip and it was great but it was my daughters first rafting experience and it is a memory that she will never forget. Molly made our trip amazing.

The staff was extremely friendly and professional with a great sense of knowledge for the river. Mongo was our guide, he was awesome! Lunch was great. I'll definitely be recommending this outfit to everyone. Keep up the good work guys!

Our family of 7 had a wonderful time! Andi and Dinah were great guides! I thought my 10 year old may be scared but he loved it. This trip was the best so far. I have rafted as a youth but my dad was cheap and didn't get us a guide. We ended up on rocks and turned around all the time along with the family fighting over which way to go and who did it wrong. Having a guide makes the trip more enjoyable and prevents the battling of inexperienced rafters! Lunch was great with healthy make-your-own sandwiches, fruit, veges and hummus. Everything was perfect and we will definitely do it again. We got the picture CD of all our photos. Now we can share with friends so they can see all the fun we had. Recommend this highly! Enjoy the trip and then go rest. We thought about rafting and then ziplining in the same day but glad we didn't. We were really tired and needed to rest up a bit after the rafting. Take a drive around the area; it's really beautiful! Some of the other places to go around the area that we loved: Tallulah Gorge State Park, Goats on the Roof, peaches on the side of the road... Thanks Andi and DInah for a great ride!

Recently went on a rafting experience with Rob and we couldn't have had a better time. My mom, her boyfriend, his two kids, and I went last week and it was non stop laughing. Rob did a great job of making up really feel like he wanted to get to know us and made us really comfortable. He's a sarcastic personality without a doubt but it was perfect for my family's sense of humor. If you're looking to have a full day rafting experience where the guides are not trying to rush off to their next group and really seem to care about having a fun time, this is the place for you! All of the guides seemed to be very upbeat, engaging, and extra careful to avoid injury. They also included a lunch which was a great breather. The location was also great because it was secluded and we weren't constantly hearing a nearby highway. It was anything but over commercialized.I would love to come back with my college friends and do the overnight trip! Thanks Rob and good luck to you man, we had so much fun!
