At the market in Nijmegen you see this beautiful building. You can eat and drink on the terraces on the market. Nice place to relax.

My best friend who lives in Nijmegen had her wedding booked here. The food was fantastic. The wait staff was friendly and helpful and overall super amazing and helped me so much in making her day unforgettable. It was centrally located in the middle of the city, beautiful and a ton of fun. I really can't say enough about the staff. They were incredible. I will go back again and again for coffee and drinks, and if someone is looking for a venue, I'll recommend De Waagh. Thank you guys!

As there isn't a menu printed in English, the waiter proposed us a "surprise" menu, our choice was only on the main course (fish or meat). We got a well cooked four courses menu, with generous quantities, good beer(s), ice cream and a bunch of peanuts for a fair 35€.Building is really amazing, especially compared to the restaurants around.

One of the most beautiful buildings you'll see, not sure of the age, but could be medievalStep inside for more history, the owners have done a great job of preserving history.I've often enjoyed a pint or two here, however on my last visit I dinedFood was well prepared and presented. After visiting the Stevens church I walked through the gate that ends at the Grote Markt. Then I watched at the beautiful building De Waagh and eagerly apppoached it. Unfortunately it turned out that the building was closed so I cannot tell about the food and drinks.

The food is very tasty and very good-looking, but don't go there when you're hungry: the portions are very small.

Вычурное, импозантное, красивое здание на главной площади, построенное в XVII веке, несомненный гвоздь программы в Неймегене. Раньше оно вмещало местную торговую палату и частично рынок, а теперь вмещает недешевый ресторан. Интересно, что оно расположено по диагонали площади, а не посреди нее или вдоль. Рекомендую забраться на балкончик первого этажа.

Кафе на Гроте Маркт со столиками на улице и обычными голландскими блюдами. Омлет с сыром и ветчиной неплох, а вообще просто приятно посидеть в хорошую погоду на площади, попить кофе и смотреть на проходящих людей, что местные и делают.

het pas verbouwde waagh gebouw waarin men asbest had aan getroffen en weer open is, jammer genoeg is de uitbater door alle problemen zelf ziek geworden door alle rampen, je kunt hier genieten van een drankje of een lekkere maaltijd prachtige open keuken op de beneden vloer boven zijn er zalen te huur voor feesten of voor andere doel einden mooi terras waar mooi over de markt uit kijkt en op de stevens kerk echt we de moeite waard.

De Waagh, es un precioso edificio, céntrico, ubicado concretamente en Grote Markt, que no pasa desapercibido para nadie.Es un antigüo edificio contruído, entre los años 1612-1613, de forma rectangular y de estilo renacentista. Actualmente, en la parte baja del edificio, hay un restaurante, que con buen tiempo saca su terracita, a Grote Markt. Es un sitio ideal, para comer, tomar un refresco y contemplar tranquilamente, Grote Markt, un lugar con encanto.No muy lejos está, Sint Stevenskerk.

Als inwoner van Nijmegen zie ik het soms over het hoofd, maar dan herinner ik me weer de eerste keer dat ik De Waagh en de Stevenstoren zag en me bedacht dat Nijmegen toch een mooie view heeft, al is ie wat beperkt.
