A charming park with a small animal park, medieval walls, a small waterfall that cascades into a pond lush with birds, including black swans. The small "cottage" on the island provides shelter and a nesting area. Lots of space to walk or sin on the grass and contemplate life. Benches line the paved walks.

kronenburger park is a small piece of land situated just 15 minutes from nijmegen town center, if you head for the police headquarters it rests only 5 mins away and is easy to find ...once there youre greeted by a picture postcard setting of a lovely tranquil lake with a round house castle tower that stands proudly whilst accompanied by a soothing water feature,not much else there apart from greenery but an ideal place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of nijmegen town center

Lots of green, black swans, deers and other animals. Spaces to sit or just take relax. Perfect place for picnick with friends.

During my visit to Nijmegen I was focussed on visiting the other park named Valkhof but in fact I have to admit that this park is way more interesting. First it's larger and very green, second it has some nice features like the mediëval buildings and third you can watch animals like deer and black swans. When I visited this park it was autumn and that was an overwhelming extra dimension, so many wonderful coloured leaves on the varied trees. Highly recommended!

To the west of Nijmegen. This small park is a place for quiet solitude.Species of water fowl attract the eye as they enjoy a lake formed from the old town moat. Red brick town walls with a well preserved shot tower still remain. At the northern end of the park is the oldest shopping street in the Netherlands. New excavations undercover roman and medieval remains of older buildings. The small shops defy the mass market rubbish and along with old pubs and restaurants are staying alive where elsewhere retailers windows shout prize cuts of 70% as the recession bites deeper. Aslo close by is an eye-catching modern cinematic art work to remember local boy the great documentary film maker Joris Ivens. The northern end of the park is also close to a small red-light street. All very gentile and managed in a way that the Dutch can always feel pround about getting the balance right.

Que gran parque. Ubicado justo a la entrada del centro de la ciudad es un precioso parque con muralla medieval y todo. Recomendable su visita para un agradable descanso. Hay un parking unos200 m antes.

Lekker park om in de zomer te relaxen. Groot genoeg dus verschillende plekjes waar je kunt liggen. Houd er wel rekening mee dat er groepen jongeren kunnen zijn die muziek bij hebben die niet altijd naar je smaak is. Heerlijk plekje om in de zomer te relaxen als je het mij vraagt!

Ben in Nijmegen en heb je iets met dat liedje van Frank Boeijen dan ga je erheen. Liedje is beter dan het park maar ok het seizoen zat niet mee.

Pada dasarnya daerah ini berupa taman yang indah di tengah kota Nijmegen. Namun semakin dipercantik dengan adanya beberapa bangunan kastil yang masih berdiri kokoh. Tidak hanya itu disekitarnya pun terdapat aliran air yang dihuni oleh beberapa jenis angsa. Jadi berjalan-jalan di sekitar taman akan sangat menyejukan hati.

Este parque fica no centro da cidade de Nijmegen , conserva ruinas da fortificacao. É lindo, area de muito verde, com Lagos, animais. Local perfeito para passar o dia , deitada na grama e aproveitando a paz e tranquilidade que o local oferece.

De kruittoren is nog een stukje dat niet gebombardeerd is en heel mooi staat naast de vijver. Er staan ook een aantal mooie bomen die het bezoek waard zijn, Ideaal om even tussendoor tot jezelf te komen. Maar vanwege de zwanen en dieren ook mooi om met kinderen heen te gaan.

Het veel bezongen Kronenburgerpark is absoluut één van de fijnste plekjes in Nijmegen om zomers te liggen op het gras, op een bankje te zitten of bij de vijver te kijken naar de zwarte zwanen die binnen één jaar al twee keer een nest met zeven jongen hebben gehad.
