St Georges Hall hold many attractions through the year. I went to a massive Christmas Fair just before Christmas and found over a 100 stalls with all hand made food clothes and gift which I ended up being most of my Christmas gifts from.

This is one of the most stunning buildings anywhere both inside and outside. If in Liverpool don't miss this out on your itinerary.

Brilliant landscape and an excellent location to Liverpool Lime Street station if you are a tourist and want to take some quick historical snaps. Well maintained statues which give Liverpool's city centre a perfect cultural edge.

This place takes you by surprise when you go below stairs and see the old prison cells and old punishment methods. You can tour the old court house and if you go to the top of the building you get a magnificent view of the great hall. Well worth a visit and it's all free!

A huge and amazing historical building where you can view the law courts and chambers, cells and the Fantastic great hall containing the statues of many famous Liverpool citizens including Kitty Wilkinson. You can also view the really beautiful and ornate concert room which takes you back in time to another era. Wonderful!

TripAdvisors, only 487 reviews on Saint Georges Hall. Come On! You are better than that.I stood out front of Lime Street Station; turned my head to the right and there was this huge, magnificent Classical building with equestrian statues of Victoria and Albert leading off.Recently under gone restoration in 2007 at the cost of 23 million pound - it size is remarkable.Inside are basically a concert Hall and the law courts, and of course the cells in the basement.I took the lift to the top floor and had a magnificent view of the Great Hall with its 3,000 coloured Thomas Minton tiles made in Stoke Upon Trent; and the statues in the niches, which include - Robert Peel, Gladstone and George Stephenson. At one end was this very attractive organ.Once I had traveled a few round trips in the Red Hop-on and off bus, I quickly learned that Liverpool in its Economic Age had turned its Pounds into very beautiful Buildings, of which Saint George's Hall would have to be one of the best.Brian, from Perth. So much history in this place and it has been refurbished but retains the historical feel of being built in the early 1800s. Minton tiles in the main hall, Dickens visited and there is a Court room and cells. The staff are lovely and welcoming

We were a party of 6 with 3 of us having sandwiches before watching the musical Mamma Mia across the road at the Empire. The sandwiches were delicious, coffees lovely and the wine excellent. The lady who served us was just so helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The café is immaculately clean and all in all was a great place to meet before the show

This is well worth a visit to see the Courtroom and the wonderful main hall, seen from the balcony. Very informative. No cost.

Traditional and a little old but worth seeing. You think you are in a shopping center but soon you realize that inside there are market stalls that have their charm, with the old English way to sell the goods.

Building which housed the courts was once of limits to the general public and for some time went into decline. It is now being run efficiently with open access to nearly all parts of the building and cellars. There is commentary on the use of the building over its lifetime and a couple of times a years the floor in the main hall is uncovered for viewing. Also during the year various exhibitions and fairs are held in the building. If you visit this building take your camer with you - you'll be glad you did.
