Being refurbished, the smell made me sick. Not much on show. It is free but wished we hadn't wasted our time.

Having been told that the museum were running children's activity sessions during the school holidays we decided to pay a visit. Thoroughly impressed by the amount of exhibitions, information, and handouts for children to do whilst walking around already, we then came across the arts and crafts activity area where we sat and created for an hour for a small contribution. Absolutely fantastic for a couple of hours amusing the kids as well as big kids too!

My wife, son and self went here when the WW1 exhibition was on and were pleasantly impressed with the structure, layout, content and diversity of the exhibits. Plenty to see and do, kept us interested for a good few hours. Son (12) was engaged all the way round and my wife enjoyed it more than she expected to. I was pleased to see so many examples of cars I recognised from years gone by.

It is a while since I visited CTM, but I remember it as being extremely interesting and worth spending a couple of hours round.

What a lovey afternoon we had at the transport museum...The displays attracted the kids, it was well laid out and took adecent amount of time to walk around. There were some stations to complete activities. Our 6 year old found it interesting....mainly the cars and the history.The cafe was good too with a wide range of foods and drinks to suit all.And the bonus is it is free!

its a great place to have a look around it as alot to see and it is a great place to take the family .and it is all indoors.and when you have finished your tour around .you have a drink and somrthing to eat in the resturaut

It is a good sized museum with lots for everyone. Not just cars and vehicles but war memorabilia also. Other cities would charge a good price to enter but somehow Coventry allows people in for free.

Although currently under a major refurb, this museum is a gem in Coventry and is well worth a visit once all is completed in the Summer.

A great free museum with lots of attractions.Currently under going some major renovations so most of it was shut during our visit which was disappointing but we still enjoyed it. We will certainly be back once all the work is complete.

The entry is free and open on all days. They had a good collection of ancient vehicles till the latest vehicles and it was good to see how the old day people managed to travel with those vehicles.

This is a free museum, in centre of town, what we saw was great however, extensive renovations were in progress and most of exhibits not on show, What we saw was good, and from work in progress looks like it will be good in future.

Great place to go and see some cars you may have owned when you were a lad ! Nostalgia is what it used to be !Definitely somewhere to go for a hour or two, take the kids or grandkids, they'll love it.

This place is the best place for a vehicle fan especially car fan. They have a collection of all the old transport vehicles in Great Britain.

We went for a day out in Coventry and I was happy to finally get to visit the Transport Museum and it did not disappoint. They were in the middle of some works but it was still lots to see. There is a lovely coffee shop as well where the staff is very friendly. Its free and educational! I can`t wait to go back once the refurbishing its done!
