Great stadium and fantastic atmosphere. As an away fan visiting St James its not my favourite ground, just because you are far away from the action and atmosphereEasy place to find and to plenty of parking within a ten minute walk

Very good Sunday lunch. Good menu choice, good service no issues at all. Staff very friendly and helpful. You have two choices of 2 or 3 course. Fantastic value for money. After the meal you gather in a group and go off on a tour of the stadium. Really good, you get to walk through the tunnel onto the pitch, go into the dressing rooms and into one of the boxes. Very very good well worth a visit.

We travel from the south once a year to watch Newcastle at home as a treat. We always feel safe and getting into the ground and coming out is always swift with excellent directions from stewards.

St James' Park towers over Newcastle city centre. It's a stadium with Victorian origins and location of a kind that is now quite rare in British football. Of course it is now in no sense a Victorian building although I remember well enough when it was. It's slightly odd looking in that two sides are significantly higher than the other two. Away fans are housed at the very top of the Leazes end with spectacular views across the city and towards the Tyne and County Durham. The stand is so high and the climb so steep you may well try to use the lift which takes one up seven stories. As things stand it holds over 50000 but if the two lower sides could be brought level with the higher ones it would be very big indeed. As with all grounds the atmosphere tends to fluctuate with the success of the home team and the optimism of their fans. Disillusionment tends to make things factious and less noisy. However it is a fine sporting theatre and worth a visit for a match.

Had a great time with great seats for the match and entry to the Jackie Millburn Sportsbar which is very relaxing and serves food and drink at decent prices

Regularly come down to Newcastle games from Scotland and have never been let down once. Always a great day/weekend away. Cracking stadium, great fans with plenty of places for pre match drinks. As others have said, a bit pricey inside for food/drink so bring plenty cash. It's a bonus it's only a 5-10 min walk from the station with bars upon bars in between. Well worth a wee visit, u won't be disappointed!

Great place, just the whole atmosphere was great. Staff where very friendly and went the extra mile when asked for help. I went up to st James park with my daughter and was a little concerned that she would be pushed around and it would be an unpleasant experience but it was far from that. A great family place to visit. Word of advice though... the food is ok at best and a wee bit pricey.

Poor hotch potch arena built like a meccano set. The seats in the away end require climbing thousands of stairs - terrible. The Greggs pies are cold and tasteless and the noise from the home crowd none existant - not surprising as they lost again to the best team in the north east !!

As a Newcastle Fan and a regular visitor to the ground, I am biased however I think that we have a good stadium. Obviously situated in the centre of Newcastle, it's central for bars and restaurants. On a match day with the atmosphere its fantastic and it makes me proud to be a Geordie. Prices for drinks and food are really expensive for the quality that you get and you cant pay on card throughout the stadium so if you are planning to visit, make sure you have cash with you. There is a good stadium tour that is available most days, including Match days (I think!) that gives you a look at the dressing rooms and provides you with history, facts and figures.

Perhaps it is now time to ignore the fabulous stadium, perfect pitch, new hi-tech floodlights, and central City location..... and hand it over to be run as a full time circus!Good tour though!

Did a stadium tour while "in town" to kill some time. Was a really great experience. Even my girlfriend, who isn't a football person at all, really enjoyed it!
