Visited today with the help of Stratfords town walk guide. Absolutely beautiful church with lots of historical information on display (most of which about shakespeare) which is why we went but may not be the primary reason for others. Would definitely go again so as I could linger rather than move on with the walk.

Quite interesting to see Will's impressive tomb. The church nicely situated near the Bancroft Gardens and the river.

Beautiful stained glass, interesting leaflet about Shakespeare's family graves. Good value for £1. Interesting seating arrangements for those who may have struggled with long sermons!

What a beautifully preserved church, full of character and steeped in history, loved it. Amazing stained glass windows, obviously replaced after war damage but in keeping with its history

We visited here as we had entrance to see Shakespeare's grave as part of a pass when we went to Halls croft which is close by. To be honest we didn't really look around the church we purely went to see where Shakespeare and his family were laid to rest, if we didn't have the pass I doubt we would have paid the £2 each to go and see it. It is interesting to see and to learn a bit about is family but I don't think I'd have been gutted if I hadn't have gone.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon so the church was quite busy but there was plenty of opportunity to see the grave, which you have to pay for.Interesting misericords, and lovely stained glass.

Full of history as well as Shakespeares grave. Very helpful volunteers and very informative guide in the Chancel. Well worth the donation to go into the Chancel and see the Shakespeare family graves as well as the chapels.

This church is absolutely stunning, worth a visit in itself, the stained glass windows are just gorgeous. It is included in the multi house pass available for purchase to gain access to all the Shakespeare attractions (there are different types of pass available), which is valid for 12 months from purchase. If you don't have a house pass, there is a small fee, but it is worth it just to see the amazing architecture and structure of the building, as well as Shakespeares grave (also his wife, daughter, son in law and first husband of his granddaughter). The grounds outside the church are something to be enjoyed too, it is very peaceful and scenic.

This is a beautiful church and worth visiting for the stained glass alone. The guide was pleasant and helpful, the display boards clear and informative,

Lovely church to view then a £2 payment to go further in and view the famous graves. Get a pass or vouchers to bring that down to £1.

A pleasant church whose major claim to tourism is the grave of Shakespeare and his family. There is a fee if you don't have a house pass. It is interesting to see and isn't too far to get to from the town.

Very interesting (even after seeing dozens of other churches) and the brief cameo appearance by the vicar was very welcome (he stopped off for a quick chat - but perhaps dont expect that every time).

Other than Shakespeare's tomb, which is a historic and interesting site to visit, this church also has other fun facts to offer about the area. It's a beautiful place with a very nice atmosphere. The staff were very nice, and it only cost 50p (for students) to enter the shakespeare's tomb area.

Quiet contemplation and much more to absorb than Shakespeare's grave. Well worth a visit, enjoyed the prayer reading during our time there, everyone just stopped and listened- so quiet and time to reflect - thank you

Free to get in as part of the Shakespeare Five houses ticket and certainly worth a visit. If you visit the other Shakespeare sites I would reccomend you do this last. There is something quite special about wandering through the Bard's life and then finishing off by seeing his tomb. The church itself is lovely. We were met by a friendly chap who gave us a free info booklet and then you are free to wander the church and take pictures at your lesuire. Well worth spending half an hour or so here.
