I was told about this church by a man in a neighbouring village who suggested that I might find it interesting. He was not wrong. To reach the building I had to drive along a very muddy track, on several occasions wondering whether I was going to end up in a field. However, I persevered and came to this wonderful building. Built in 1735, it is an excellent example of Baroque architecture. It was open and when I stepped inside I was astounded. The ceilings are painted and there is extravagant decoration everywhere. Pevsner describes the monument to the first Lord Foley to be one of the largest of its kind in England. This really is a "must visit" church, it is absolutely fantastic. Admission is free but donations towards the upkeep are welcomed.

Lovely ornate church which forms part of the Whitley Court Estate. There is no fee to go in, but donations are a must. Great historical display of photos of the house and families. A must see if you go to Whitley Court.

This Church is unbelievable! Its a very special place. Very ornate and kept very well. Used to be the Church belonging to Witley Court but is now Great Witley Parish Church. Well worth a visit. Whilst there, go to the tea rooms at the bottom of the church drive - very good.

Having visited Witley court, we walked to the church. It took my breath away, what a fantastic church, the ceiling just amazing. It reminded me of a church in Austria. Would definitely visit again.

Stunning. The most amazing Baroque Church glorifying the wealth of the Foley family who built the adjoining 'palace'. The stained glass windows are probably the finest in northern Europe. After visiting, do visit the tea-rooms, which are worth a special mention.

We vistied Great Witley Parish Church after seeing the review on Countryfile earlier in the year. What an amazing place, fantastic stained glass windows. The whole place is quite stunning!! We also visited the crypt which is fascinating. Micheal the volunteer guide was really informative and gave us a really good talk on the history. We also visited the tea rooms next door which sell a really good range of gluten free lunches and cake. We would really recommend a visit.

This is a jewel and not to be missed. Impressive ceilings, stained glass windows and information boards if a guide is not free to chat. The tearooms next door have a pretty garden and tasty snacks. The ruined mansion of Witley Court is very impressive!

The most beautiful church, you must see. A jewel to the whole area. Situated next to Witley court. Open the main church door and the stunning stained glass and gold wall decorations are a sight to see. Walk in, sit down, view the amazing paintings on the ceiling. The volunteers are very helpful and the crypt is open on some days. I was there on a Sunday.

This church is well worth a visit as it is so different to English churches and cathedrals. There is stained glass but the interior design is so Austrian/German. It was originally in London but was moved piece by piece to it's new location. The staff are very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. Entry is free.

It's the first time we have had time to visit, but it was worth the extra effort. What an interior: the stained glass windows; the ceiling paintings; the statuary. Utterly spellbinding!

It was awesome to come across this church in a Worcestershire village. It is quite small but 'the finest Baroque church in England'. It has extensive gilded stucco and dramatic ceiling paintings so the overall effect is dramatic.

Such a stunning Baroque building that hosted our friends wedding and it was faultless. I can't say any more. Just go and be prepared for you jaw to hit the marble floor ...

I have visited here a few times and still have that 'wow' feeling when I walk inside. The exterior may be fairly bland but the interior never ceases to amaze. Thank goodness this beautiful unique church survived the fire that destroyed the adjacent stately home.
