This is a small museum with exhibitions about local history and local trades. We brought some chinese guests here and it took us just over one hour to get around. The best times to visit are when there are special events on like the towns farmers harvest market or similar.

Bewdley Museum supplies a mixture of activities for children, art work, studios, gardens, shops etc, for the adults and a lovely little cafe that does the most amazing sandwiches & icecreams to boot! The museum is not the largest I've been to but there is no entrance charge and Jubilee Gardens at the back (which can be accessed from the museum) gives the perfect place for children to let off steam ~ if you wish to picnic there after your visit. I've been there when rope was being made on the rope walk - volunteers are always required for a hands on experience, clay pipe making activity for the children, hazel hurdle making, the saw pit demonstration, WWII exhibition to name just a few of the different things on offer at different times.

Nice small museum. We went when there was a special exhibit for WW1 anniversary. Nice gardens outside and there is no entrance fee. Well worth a visit if you are passing.

the museum is quite small , yet the gardens are lovely and the pools with the koi. The cafe is reasonably priced and plenty of sick items. There are workshops and quite a lot of local history, worth a visit if you're around the area, not worth a special trip.

This small museum has some very interesting displays of how life used to be. The staff are informative and helpful. Tea and coffee are available along with snacks. A good place for a gentle wander through the past.

Signage to the museum isn't good. I thought it would be bigger, and I assumed it would be like Black country museum, and it was kind of. Staff where very helpful and friendly. The gardens were lush too. I recommend this little place.

Easily missed, this is a really well-conceived small museum. Its emphasis is emphatically on local history and particularly local industries and crafts, some of which are promoted through active workshops. Musical instrument repair, leather craft and bookbinding, jewellery wood turning, coracle making and others are represented.A brass foundry [used industrially until the mid sixties, revived later as a "living museum" and then sadly condemned as an "Unsafe Workplace"] has been preserved much as it would have been when active.Clear displays of a more conventional nature depict the history of the area. There is a cafe, lovely outside garden, real WW2 air raid shelter [not a recreation] and much else to interest. An unusual mixture of museum and active craftsmanship - very well worth a visit.

We visited this museum whilst spending a short time in Bewdley. Lots to see and we bought hand made clay pipes for the children. Loved the crochet tree in the park too !

Only small but a little gem. Make sure you take time out to visit. Keep walking through the museum and eventually you can exit thought to the secret park - just like the wardrobe and Narnia. What is more, entrance to this wonderful mini museum is free. Don't miss out - make sure you visit.

A hidden gem of a museum behind the tourist info centre. Lots to see and do, interactions for kids and adults alike, you could easily spend a few hours here learning about the history of Bewdley.Great little cafe too.

We visited the museum to see about the brass works but the whole museum was well worth a visit. It is quite small but very easy to get around. There are some crafts people working there. Loads of information about Bewdley's past and although we are not from the area, we found it very interesting. Well done to all the volunteers.
