The Cathedral has a hundred good reasons to visit. This, in truth, only one. An approach, possibly an insight into the mind of the humble, medieval parishioner of Salisbury. Despite there being an element of restoration, reinterpretation in colour or figure, this is the most complete and fearful tale of Resurrection and Damnation inside an English Church – at least of which I know. There is also a matchingly dark and bat/angle/angel-like roof, other C15th wall paintings, some impressive tapestry, and so on. All worth a visit in any other Church. Here you go for either Hell or Heaven.

Probably the loveliest church I have ever been to. The Doom painting dominates. You can stare at it for hours and still not see all its intricacies. There are comprehensive leaflets which take you round the church giving you the low down on all the delights. A cafe in the corner, ensures that the place is bubbling with life. If only all churches were like this.

Having recently moved to salisbury because of work I decided to try out the local church and have been to a couple of services. really enjoyed the worship. the people are very friendly and offered a warm welcome and the church is really well cared for.

St Thomas's is often overlooked as it is so close to the cathedral. But well worth a visit! The Doomsday painting is fantastic! And the rest of the church is equally lovely and interesting. Well worth a visit.

The Doom wall painting is a remarkable medieval survior that is rare in a church in the centre of a city. The church as a whole is light, interesting and obviously has an active congregation.

Unfortunately for this church, it has to 'compete' With the cathedral. That is a lost job, but still this is a very nice church. Make sure to look at the old wooden ceiling.

A mixture of an old church and a very modern built extension, all in original Gothic style. Clear labelling throughout, and helpful staff.

The problem for this intetesting church is that being in Salisbury it has to compete with the wonderful world famous cathedral. But St Thomas's is well worth visiting for its histotical associations.

What a truly lovely church with lovely people. We went to the Christmas Tree Festival where 120 different trees were on show. When we arrived the organist was playing and the church was quite full of all kinds of people. The choir then treated us to some carols. The windows are unusual in that they are quite low compared to the rest of the building. There are lovely vaulted wooden ceilings too. A truly lovely experience...

Before Christmas the Church is filled with 114 decorated Christmas Trees,we listened to two children's choirs .The whole event was magical and the friendliness of the people touched us both.

This was truly magnificent. There is an excellent medieval doom painting on the wall and the architecture in outstanding. I would definitely recommend visiting this delightful place. Although it says I visited in December 2013 it was actually July 2013.

In the middle of Salisbury is this wonderful church which you could so easily miss. But we were fortunate because we had already been advised to pay it a visit. And how glad we were that we did for her is the most wonderful doom painting, huge and glorious, and worth a visit alone. But also visit for the atmosphere of this lovely church, which offers a quiet refuge for reflection and prayer in the midst of the bustle of the city.

I was walking around Salisbury. I had gone to the Salisbury Cathedral and was walking around the town when I came across this church. It's impressive! The history and the visual appeal is great. I found this church to be a hidden jewel! I was so glad to have come across it.
