We recently experienced the Safari Off Road Adventure. You are taken through the Africa Reserves section, Lion Park and Jungle Reserve in one of the special off road safari vehicles, and really do get up close to many of the amazing animals. You are met by an experienced ranger guide who provides an in-depth commentary about the animals, including names, character and personalities. The tour includes a look behind the scenes to the park’s animal houses where you can learn about animal care, breeding programs, conservation and the animals’ special dietary needs. Our ranger was Bob, who was very knowledgeable and humorous and really made the experience a day to remember.

We decided to go for a family day out.....just because we can. Got tickets on line before hand , brilliant , arrived and straight in.Parked up and all got into one car, 5 adults two children and what a laugh we had. Lions, bears and Oh boy the Monkeys.....what can we say, fabulous , exciting ,funny and we could have sat there all day, just watching. After a wonderful time in the enclosure we went for something to eat, we had taken a picnic. Facilities were brilliant and although it was a cold day we sat underneath the umbrellas and had fun.Walked around all the other enclosures and generally had a fab day. WELL DONE WOBURN , you were fantastic.

We had a great time on the safari today, most animals were out. However, we finished up in the restuarant next to the shop, and wish we hadn't bothered. I volunteer for the National Trust tea rooms and welcome guests with a smile and a 'can do' approach. Shame the staff on duty today haven't been taught some basic customer service skills, no hello, no 'can I help you', or 'thank you', or even a smile at the till! Miserable lot! Good manners cost nothing. The catering staff let the side down, shame, everyone else were great.

My friend and I spent the most fantastic afternoon at Woburn Safari Park yesterday on a VIP / Photography tour. Bob you are THE BEST!Thank you very much for getting us up soooo close to take the photographs and for all the interesting facts you shared with us about the animals too! :) We had such great fun and belly bursting laughs all afternoon all topped of by a surprise visit to the see those adorable lion cubs. I would highly recommend a VIP tour with Bob at Woburn to anyone and just know you wouldn't be disappointed :)

We visited Woburn on a Thursday in March for my son's birthday. Didn't pay as we had Clubcard vouchers so my review may have been different if we'd forked out the £58 it would have been for 2 adults and a 3 year old. First up was the safari, this was enjoyable although I was kind of expecting more animals, we seemed to see lots more at West Mids Safari Park. After the Safari there were a few animals to look at and the elephant show was good, but I think you may feel very cheated if you had paid £22, especially as the train wasn't running and the free Sea Lion show we got in its place would normally have cost you extra. A good day out but not sure I will be going again.
Mumand3kids
Dear Mumand3kids,Thank you for your post. We appreciate all feedback from guests following their visit to us. We were very glad to hear that you enjoyed the Road Safari. Guests have the opportunity to undertake this as many times as they wish during their visit so we hope you were able to do this more than once. We are also pleased that you had the chance to see our new ‘Dissscovery Zone’ with its range of reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. We were sorry to hear that your daughter wanted to see more animals. In our extensive Foot Safari, we have a range of walk-through enclosures including Land of the Lemurs, Australian Walkabout and Monkey Business where guests can walk amongst our animals. We also have Animal Encounters which is homes to penguins, red river hogs, reptiles and domestic animals. There is also Desert Springs with meerkats, mongoose and porcupine, and Otter Falls with the Asian Short Clawed Otters. We offer a full programme of talks and demonstrations including a birds of prey show, parrot show and elephant meet and greet where guests can get up close to these amazing animals. Unfortunately, our train was not running on the day of your visit. Instead, we offered guests the chance to go to our indoor Sea Lion Cove theatre to watch a sea lion demonstration and 3D mini movie free of charge. Thank you once again for your comments and we hope you choose to visit Woburn Safari Park again soon. Kind regards,Adele Clegg, Duty Manager

Dear Samantha R,Many thanks for letting us know about your visit to Woburn Safari Park. We’re very pleased to hear you enjoyed your visit. The elephants have access to three paddocks, as well as Elephant Meadow where they hold the daily elephant talk. They are on view from both the Reserves section of the drive through safari as well as the re-entry road from the Foot Safari area. Due to the weather being quite wet in the days leading up to your visit last month, unfortunately the giraffe were unable to go outside onto their main reserve for their safety. Visitors to the park should be keeping their windows closed at all times when visiting the drive through section. If you notice this happening on a future visit, please do bring it to the attention of one of the keepers patrolling the section. We hope this didn't directly impact your enjoyment of the day.We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.Kind regards,Debra Knox, Marketing Executive

Dear Zoe C,Thank you for letting us know about your visit. We’re very pleased to hear you enjoyed your day at Woburn Safari Park. There are four species of lemur in the walkthrough Land of Lemurs enclosure. Some are very tame and do try to get some attention from visitors! With regards to your experience in the African Jungle with the monkeys, thank you for bringing this to our attention and we apologise if this impacted your day. There are keepers patrolling each section when the park is open and appreciate any reports of visitors not abiding to the rules. Thank you also for sharing the lovely picture from your day. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.Kind regards,Debra Knox, Marketing Executive

Went on the Go Ape tree-top adventure for my little cousin's birthday. Absolutely great afternoon! The team provided a detailed safety and training session prior to letting us head out on our own. The course was challenging, exhilarating and totally fun! We all landed in the mud more than once after botching the zip-line landing! Kids and adults alike loved it! Would recommend to anyone looking for a family-friendly adventure.

Lovely day out, unfortunately it rained heavily so the kids were unable to use the outdoor play areas. The driving safari was great fun & we were able to see a variety of animals up close.

Dear Kelly P,Thank you for writing a review of your visit to Woburn Safari Park. We’re pleased to hear that you and your family enjoyed your day.Certain areas of the Foot Safari, including Rainbow Landing, were closed over half-term for essential maintenance. This was unforeseen but necessary to ensure the welfare of the animals here. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused to your day.The elephant and Birds in Action demonstrations are very popular and we’re pleased to hear you were able to touch one of the beautiful Asian elephants. It is a very special experience for our visitors. We hope to welcome you and your family back again soon.Kind regards,Debra Knox, Marketing Executive

The drive through safari is really good. The walk through safari is a little tired and the car park is small. Worth a visit for the range of animals and shows are good.
