Had a fantastic half day owls and eagles experience. Shorna and Carly were brilliant. Very knowledgeable, and humorous really made it a special day. They gave us ample opportunity to spend time handling the birds and having the exhilarating task of flying an eagle. A truly memorable day. I want to do it all over again.

My wife and I visited the Birds of Prey Centre a few weeks ago after we booked a session of falconry, air rifle shooting & archery. There were about 12 of us in our group, led by two instructors named Jamie and Jon. Firstly I'd like to say how great Jamie and Jon are at their job, they obviously care and enjoy what they do which makes the experience very fun and informative. We started the day with some falconry, in which the birds would fly from one persons gauntlet to another. Next we handled several different owls and a bald eagle, gorgeous and well behaved I might add. Followed by some air rifle target shooting & archery. Loved every minute and worth every penny!

I took my 6yr Iola nephew here for a birthday treat in early March. I had previously visited the centre when it was at the old location (Shuttleworth Park) and therefore I was. Interested to see how much it had changed. I am happy to say that, although the new location is not as scenic - the enthusiasm of the people who work there and the helpfulness of everyone has not altered. Everyone was informative of the birds that were seen and the chance to get close to these birds is brilliant for both hound and old alike. I paid an extra £7 for my nephew to have hands on with some of the birds - and Casey (one of the handlers there) was brilliant. For the extra hour my nephew was able to fly a barn owl and handle upto 10 differed birds which he loved. The bird shows which occur every few hours and last for 30mins is also a great way to see and learn about the birds - we especially loved the fast one that swooped down at 200mph!Would recommend this to everyone who wants a fun and interactive way to learn about birds of prey in a safe environment. The centre is in it early stages of development so there are a few things that need developing but this should not distract from how good this place is. My nephew summed this place up as "awesome!"

Absolutely wonderful day out for the Experience. Undoubtedly the best centre I have visited. Able to handle many owls, hawks and eagles. It was a bjrthday present from my daughter, for which I cant thank her enough. I can certainly recomend a day's visit. Many thanks to out guide, Cara, and the other staff. So very knowledgeable and friendly. Well done. I will be back.

Have been to many Raptor centres and this is the best yet. Many birds to look at. But I went for a half day eagle experience. Having a Bald Eagle land on your arm and take off again is indescribable. We also handled other birds as well including many owls, American Kestrel and adult and juvenile bald eagles and possibly my favourite a Chilean Blue Eagle. Staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to go

I visited for a half day activity experience involving air gun shooting, laser clays, knife throwing, archery and cross bows. Had a fantastic morning - great set up and really good fun for corporate groups or friends. The birds were amazing and their was an opportunity to handle some of them as well as watch flight and hunting demos. On site cafe and shop as well. Staff are well informed and very entertaining. Fantastic location - great for children too

I got the half day bird handling experience our group guide was Ria and she was fantastic very passionate about the birds and informative. She made the day great and took her time after the experience was over to show us around some more and let us handle our favourite birds. Thanks to her we had a brilliant day so try to ask for her when you book.

This was an experience day bought by my children, for me.The birds were great and the people showing them off obviously knew their stuff and were interesting to listen to. My day included archery and air rifle shooting which again was well organised and run by John & Carl.However, the voucher I printed off had the wrong address on it so had a hurried trip around Bedfordshire to find the centre and arrive for my time slot, not impressed, nor was I impressed with the set up at the centre. A long list of what they do, but no prices, staff that could be very abrupt to the point of being rude and not sufficient car parking spaces! Also a complete lack of information when I confirmed the booking meant I did it alone, I would have paid for my wife to accompany me.Ask a lot of questions when you book and confirm the address of the centre before you go, especially if you have an experience day.

Not quite sure what to expect - but absolutely smashing day with lovely staff, holding birds of all sizes - including having American Bald Eagle swoop on to arm. And finale flying show. Recommend for everyone.

My daughter and I had a fantastic afternoon at the centre which began with a variety of owls that we all got to hold - beautiful birds, one looked just like a Furby. Then on to flying the harris hawks, the sea eagle and a grey eagle (can't remember it's proper name, but he's 22 and a real star). the flew a sea eagle which was stunning.Throughout, Ben and Jake/James(?) were keeping us entertained with various stories of bitten fingers (theirs) and answering questions.This was a Groupon trip for us, so also mega cheap - but would definitely go again, even at full price.

Spent this morning there with my son. We did archery,shooting and got to hold and fly some birds of prey. The guys that run it are brilliant, they make the experience even better. Will definitely be going again

Thank you Kyle and the team of Harris Hawks for a great day hunting. It was a great experience and feel very fortunate to have experienced hunting with these fantastic birds.

My boyfriend was bought the experience for his bday so it was for one person. Although I went along and I got to join in on all the activities which we didn't expect at all. We got to hold various types of birds, from Hawks to owls to Bald eagles, they were beautiful! Our guide Karly was brilliant, knew everything about the birds and had a real passion for her job, she really made the experience special. I would have given 5 stars but they were slightly understaffed and couldn't provide food from the cafe or get to look round the gift shop. All in all a brill morning out, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Lovely evening able to handle a variety of Birds of Prey and watch a demonstration as well as food included in the price.

Went with an organised group. Very friendly staff. Lots of different birds with opportunities to handle several and then fly them. Very enjoyable evening.
