Nice place to walk about. The house itself opens sometimes. The walled garden is especially pleasant to sit and relax or just wander about.

A very pleasant area to have walks up small glens, play areas for children, walled gardens and some local interesting history. There are also walks in the surrounding area round the local small loch which was used for the canal nearby. The pets cemetery up the glen is interesting.

We had our silver wedding anniversary masquerade ball on Saturday 7 June 2014 at the Colzium House. We had our wedding reception there in 1989 and wanted to return to this amazing venue. Donald the Caretaker is the most helpful person you could meet and he made the event go off without a hitch. I hired Manhattan Bars and Paul Mellon DJ and also had an outside Caterer Janice who provided a hot food delicious buffet. I hired the main hall and also the room downstairs for the buffet. The hall holds 100 comfortably. We had the best night ever and everyone that attended have said what a night it was. If you are wanting to hold a party/wedding reception or an event do not hesitate in booking the Colzium it is beautiful and has a wonderful atmosphere.

Love it here . . Its a beautiful area to visit theres the house where i have had many of our family weddings and partys and the grounds including the walled garden which is brethtaking perfect for wedding photos ect . Then theres the curling pond a a again beautiful . Theres a childrens play park which is fantastic and a ride on train and track that the kids love . . Many lovely walks and picnic areas great place to visit

This is on my doorstep and I have visited many, many times. Interesting historically and the Walled Garden is beautifully laid out. Childrens area is much enjoyed by grandchildren.
