lovely buildings and the astropark. The director and librarian are so kind to show people around. and take a look at the telescopes.

A group of 14 ex-teaching colleagues spent an enthralling hour in this building. The tour was led by retired astronomer Dr. John Butler who was a mine of information regarding its history, the characters who were associated with it and the advances the made particularly in the field of timekeeping and navigation. The building itself is very well maintained and the architectural detail quite magnificent

Lovely surroundings and the diagrams explaining the universe and such were very interesting. Lovely old building... Just wish they would clear the trees by the stones showing where the sun sets at the summer solstice as we went up there last month and couldn't see the sunset. Apart from that worth a wee walk around.

The movie was fantastic!! I loved the dome cinema! However, apart from this short movie there is very little else to see.We spent as long as possible reading the few displays they have but I was disappointed with the observatory overall. I don't think kids would have been kept entertained for as long as we were. Our visit was only 45 minutes long despite trying to prolong our reading and looking about...I would love to see more added to this place as I love the idea of visiting the observatory and I don't know of any others!

We all of us enjoyed this, we range in age from 10 to 55 and everybody learned something and had a good time.

This is definitely to be experienced at least once, its brilliant with its lie back seats and the stars are over you everywhere above you and the narrator explains and highlights them all to you, there's also lots of other interesting things to see during your visit, yep its good fun. if your in Armagh pay it a visit

Very interesting all round. I understand that Patrick Moore was the Curator of the Observatory for many years.

Pretty good, the show is good fro kids and it provies a lot of interest factors including a organised rocket building day when we went with a launching from the grass using air.Cafeteria was a bit dire with little to offer, grounds are nice and it would be worth bringing your own lunch if the weather was favourable

We took this in as we were in the area the children enjoyed it and we adults found it interesting too.

The park at this attraction is great, and the scale model of our solar system is just what every child needs to understand how the parts relates to each other, and particularly how far apart the different planets are. Bring some friends and try the Human Orrery- they really really need to get this onto YouTube. I mean WHAT could be more fun that playing the part of a planet and orbiting with your friends?
