Always a great place to stay with the caravan. Lots to do and quiet at night. It is very well secured so no need to worry when you go out for the day and leave your caravan or tent.

I have been to Carnfunnock a lot .. but when I was a lot younger! I was amazed when I visited today at the changes. Now it is my son playing in the park not me! There has been so much investment in it. It contains a walled garden, maze, activity centre and one of the best playgrounds in the country. We were visiting on a mild winter day but we have this down already for a visit when the sun comes out! Impressive!

Went to see santa today at Carnfunnock with my husband, daughter aged 11 and son aged 3. Had a lovely time. We arrived at 11.55 and the santa train started promptly at 12.00pm, we were second in the cue. Santa was lovely, took time to speak to each family and for photos to be taken, not rushed at all. Children were given 2 good presents and we received two framed photos. The photos turned out lovely. Santa jumped about and waved goodbye as the miniature train left. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and thought it was very good value for money. Will definitely return again next year.

Carnfunnock Country Park is well kept and has lots for a young family to do. You can play crazy golf, and pitch and putt on the children's play area as well as other young children's activities. They have a park area, maze to walk round. Country walks, see the sheep in the field. The place has a gift shop and a couple of small café areas. Great amount of trees to look at and name. You have a nice garden area to walk round. You can take a pack lunch or have a BBQ in the safe areas. For the older members of the family they have a driving range and golf course. If you wanted to stay longer have a place for caravans and tents.

Fantastic family fun, plenty to do, great staff and FREE (shame about the weather)! We visited this on Sat 1st Nov for the main Halloween event and we had a great time. We thought we needed to write a review with particular focus on the efforts and attention of the staff and volunteers. The weather was horrendous and they did not at any point complain, they were great and could not have done enough for everyone there. I can't believe this event is FREE! We attended a very different event a few weeks later and paid £10 a head and it was just a massive disappointment. Well done to everyone involved in Larne Alive - we loved it!

Carnfunnock is only a few miles from my house on the Antrim Coast Road. This is were I go on a regular basis for walks with the dog. I love taking my grand-daughter here as its a fantastic place for kids of all ages. They have a great play park, crazy golf, miniature railway, driving range, 9 hole golf course, bungee run, a maze in the shape of Northern Ireland, walled garden, a few nature walks which would be good for school trips. There is also a caravan and camping area which is always in high demand. Reception area with cafe, shop and exhibition area. There are numerous themed events throughout the year for example Easter egg hunt, Halloween, bat night, open farm, gymkana etc. I always take my camera with me as I love taking pictures during the different seasons. I know I'm bias but I do love Carnfunnock. I know that people come year after year to Carnfunnock Caravan Park because there is plenty to keep the kids entertained. It's also in a nice quiet spot outside the town but the town is only 4 miles away if you want to do some shopping, go to the cinema or go out for a nice meal.

I think that a lot of people from Larne will have visited the Country Park no matter what you are trying to do whether it is walking the dog, the golf driving range, activities for the kids etc. There is so much to do. As a teacher in a local school we also take our children to the park to take part in the Maths trail in the walled garden and surrounding area. A lovely place to visit and well worth the trip to the top of the hill to see the view over Larne. The maze is also a lot of fun in the summer months.
