I made a long walk through the city from Lipscani to Herastrau park because I love parks. Considering it was march and all trees dull and grey, the water muddy and dirty...I would highly recommend to visit and to take a walk. I think that in spring with all the flowers blooming (there is a lot of bulbs planted) and the tree green with leaves it must be beautiful.

I have spent many an afternoon in this Park. When the weather gets warm it sometimes feels like the entire city of Bucharest is there. The Park is so large there are many of Restaurants and Clubs in different parts. In the Summer you can take a boat ride around the lake. This is a place where you can just sit on a bench with a friend and talk about life!

More than 1 playground for children. Plenty of great trails for walking, rollerskating, and cycling. Beautiful surroundings with lots of woods.

This is the biggest park in Bucharest, located in the north area. Is a beautiful park when u can make jogging, ride the bike or just have a walk with your friends. There are also a lot of restaurants and pubs around, where you can have a drink or eat some local dishes. Well connected with the metro - station Aviatorilor.

Beautiful parc, quiet in nice sunny days. It is the biggest with the possibility to take the boats or short "cruises". I recommend

It is the biggest park in Bucharest from my opinion. Here you can find quiet areas, crowded areas with different activities, even two skateparks, it depends on what you really want, and that`s good. :)

I was so jealous of Bucharest's parks and that was the bigger and very pretty and crowded! I suppose it will be even more beautiful in spring! You should go for a walk even if it's a little far away from the centre. Be cautious if you eat from the canteens along the way.

The park is impressive and well kept. I loved strolling through these areas. You could easily get here with a bus ride and is not far from the city center. The beauty of the place is enough to make you want to travel. The best part is that it is not just a simple park but also is a place where you can do much more from cycling to jogging to even munching on snacks.

Myself and a friend enjoyed a walk through the park after visiting the Village Museum. Pros:-Clean and well-maintained grounds. -Numerous paths (many tree-lined) used by walkers, joggers, dog walkers and photographers. -Large lake. -I saw statues and busts, children's playgrounds and a water sports area. There were also refreshments stalls. Cons:-None I can think of.

For me this is the biggest and the most beautiful nature park in Bucharest. Is just 10 minutes by car from the center, the park is full of restaurants and coffee shop. I like to come there to walk alone or with my dog

What best than a big park, lake, boats, lots of trees, great for morning jogging and long romantic walks? Best recommended during autumn and spring for me. The Chinese garden is spectacular during spring!

Herastrau is a huge park with various activities available. The park itself is quite beautiful and is great for a relaxing walk. There are several restaurants and food stands of varying prices around the park. This is the location of the Hard Rock Cafe in Bucharest. There is a boat tour of the park in a large boat or you can choose to rent a row boat or pedal boat and tour the lake at your own pace. There are large willow trees that hang out over the water where you can pull your boat under for a bit of shade. You can rent bikes in the park as well. There is also an old village in the park that shows how life was in Romania hundreds of years ago. There is a fee for this but it is neat.

Nice park with new improvements from year to year ... You can walk in the park or rent a boat/hydrobicycle or take a boat tour on the lake. Also some places to have a drink or some food ( Funky Lounge, Taverna Racilor, Hard Rock Cafe ... )
