This is just a tiny enclosure with a few marmots. We saw three when we visited on Aug 29. The whole area is very scenic and definitely worth a visit

These cute furry animals are fun to watch and definitely a good thing to see when up at Rochers-de-Naye.

Only a couple of Marmots out when we visited. The animals are cute but do not stick your fingers inside the fence line. They will eat veggies from your hand but be careful

We went to see the marmots today, but none were visible in their park areas. It was a beautiful day, and we were there in late morning. Maybe they only come out late in the day? I was quite disappointed. The expo wasn't bad, but the signage was confusing and it took us a long time to find it. The people we asked didn't speak much English and waved us in a general, but not very helpful, direction. I'm hoping we might still get to see some marmots before we leave Switzerland.

Waiters very kind and helpful if only having a coffee or more. Language no barrier and euros no problem. Welcomed back like fiends on 2nd visit. Took care of my mum who really enjoyed soup and plate of day!

This is a few pens and an exhibition. I wouldn't rate it as a day out; it just happens to be up by Rochers-de-Naye station so worth walking past.

The marmots of Rochers de Naye are rather cute indeed - there is one pen close to the station if you can't walk too far, and others a little further on. Exhibition inside with all you could ever want to know (and more!) about marmots

I went here with some friends from Lausanne on a glorious day. Not sure what it'd be like in Winter, but it was an amazing trip up the mountain, with a lot of the sort of views you'd associate with the picturesque Swiss countryside.Upon alighting at the top, the views of Lake Geneva and the surrounding valleys are beautiful, as is the Alpine Garden. However, if you like your nature up close and personal, then Marmot Paradise is truly the place for you. My friend spent over an hour photographing these cute little creatures, and was petting and feeding some of them. Would be great for kids too, but overall it was a great day out.

You can even feed them apple or carots, they come really close !The expo is nice too. Very interactive.

I had never seen a marmott before taking the ride to Rochers-de-naye. I guess they are nothing special, but to us it was a bit of a thrill. The place itself is worth travelling to just to see - perched on the side of a mountain. Make sure you walk up to the huge cross on the top of the ridge to see the view over the other side.

The train ride from Montreux was an amazing experience with incredible views from both sides of the train..Everyone from the train driver to the café workers were friendly, polite and very welcoming. Someone with a passion for marmots showed us around and introduced us to the nest of babies and even let me hold one as it was slowly coming out of hibernation. It made my day! The snow at the top along with the sunshine made the panoramic view breathtaking. An expensive by worthwhile day out!

Have been on roche de naye couple of times, but never seen marmottes, is it just a marketing?!

Ne pas hésiter à vous y rendre si vous aimez les beaux paysages. En revanche, comme beaucoup je crois, je n'ai pas eu la chance de voir des marmottes hors de leurs tanières.
