如果赶上晴天,我觉得这个是瑞典外观最好的城堡,但是里面租给企业了,一般不开放,所以去了会比较扫兴。可以算是小城厄勒布鲁的唯一景点。

We walked all around the castle, its very beautiful. It is built in the middle of the river and is located right in the middle of the city. Unfortunately we visited in late afternoon and were not able to go inside, but we enjoyed what we saw on the outside.

It is very attractive from the outside. We walked all around it. The only thing inside that was open to us in September 2014, was a small replica of what it might have looked like. Not very big. Just some levels and stairs.

The castle lies in the middle of the city and is a central point in Örebro. It was built by King Magnus Eriksson in the middle of 13 century . It was renewed and expanded many times through the years . In the 15 century they used the cellar as a jail for outlaws and criminals. There are many interesting stories about the castle and its hisory to read. There is a museum now in the catsle to visit too.

The castle is situated right in the middle of the city so that, if you go to Orebro, you can not help but see it. It is built in the middle of the river that cuts through the city, and that makes it very attractive so stop by to get a characteristic photo.

The park and the overall surrondings are very nice, for a walk or for nice pictures, both in fall or beginning of summer. Inside, there are a few carpets and interesting paintings. Go there to discover more about the hostory of Orebro.

Örebro Castle lies in the middle of Örebro surrounded by water. Many restaurants and Parks lie nearby, the viewof it is stunning when strolling, having dinner och maybe just a drink.

I rather enjoy a bit of history, but having traveled several European countries, I have come to the conclusion that a castle is a castle and they only differ in the stories attached. There are several wonderful areas surrounding the castle where I recommend enjoying lunch or an ice cream, but as for tour, go if you truly are interested in the specific history of Orebro.

Having been to other castles in Sweden (Kalmar and Vadstena) during our road trip, I'm glad we were already planning to be in lovely Örebro and didn't make a special trip just to see this castle. The exterior is very beautiful with a large moat. We took the 30-minute English guided tour at 4pm (50 SEK) and our guide was a cheery college student. He whisked us through the castle to show us highlights. Unfortunately, many rooms in the castle have been overtaken by the hotel across the street and converted into a conference and event venue. There just isn't much to see inside, and no rooms were free of banks of chairs, catering tables, or other stuff of that sort. There are some lovely old paintings and interesting rooms but this place does not scream history and grandeur in any way.Unless you are already going to be in Örebro, check it out since the admission charge is quite reasonable compared to some other castles. But I wouldn't suggest making Örebro Castle a destination unless you are on a mission to see every castle.

As the hotel overlooked the castle we decided to try a meal here. Although Midsummer it gets cold at night so the restaurant supplies blankets. the food was very good and both the waitress and waiter were very attentive despite the restaurant being full and an office party enjoying themselves. the Waiter recommended some Swedish beers to go with the meal and we had a pleasant evening. We did not get to tour the castle

Our guide was the best part of the visit, he was very very knowledgable and had a great sense of humour so hearing all the stories of the castle was really entertaining, he had us laughing about history! The tour is an hour long and he made sure we got an hour even though we finished a little early, we got bonus features! Well spent hour of my time for only 60sek.

One of Sweden's most beautiful city centers with a fantastic castle in the middle of the city surrounded by moats. In summer there are art exhibitions and numerous beer gardens in the area around the castle.

Has a nice resturant inside and in the summer also outside. There is guided tours atleast during summer and around Halloween. Visit it

When visiting Örebro the presence of the castle is impossible to ignore. We arrived late in the afternoon, but were allowed to join the last (English) group. Nice, young & enthusiatic guides who had their small dramatic contributions. The interior is not on the same level as the imposing exterior; not to hide the truth, we were a little disappointed.

Impressive and beautiful. The staff were really nice. They had a out-of-place exhibit of old mobile phone. But it was quite nostalgic. The caste is old, and intact. And it is surrounded by a moat. It's like a medieval dream.
