kirna study trail

Nice walk (6,8 km trail) at Alam-Pedja Nature Reserve. Meadows, flooded areas, old oak trees. There are information boards, a lot of bridges ( one suspension bridge).There is very beautiful campsite on the half way just by the river with tower, picnic area and toilet.Instructions to find the place: drive along the Tartu-Tallinn road, 30 km from Tartu, turn left in Puurmani towards Jüriküla (there are 2 signs under the bridge – “Kirna 5” and “Jüriküla keskus”) and drive 5 km. Before the bridge over the Pedja River, there is a parking area and information board. The study trail starts here.
