挪威缩影的一部分，从海拔800多米的米达尔一路下降到海拔2米的Flam，铁轨一路曲折，好多隧道，但是景色很美，尤其是这个瀑布，非常壮观。

号称世界上最美的铁路，全长只有20公里却经历了866米的海拔，要走1个小时，沿途历经高山，瀑布，峡谷，村舍，河流，峡湾，冰雪……会在主要的景点停留1到5分钟，美不胜收！从FLAM到MYRDAR短短路程要单程250克郎，但是，仍然值得！我走的是NORWAY NUTSHELL，所以这是整个行程中的一段，也是最值得回味的！

You will not be disappointed at all!!ROUTE: If you're in Bergen, head to Gudvangen from where you board a ferry which will leisurely take you through some lovely Fjords and finally drop you off at Flam.- Enjoy a little time off at Flam, its basically a cluster of shops and eateries located midst very scenic environment. - You then catch a train from Flam to the Myrdal train station onwards to Geilo via Finse.- Do not miss the views this train ride (rated the best in world by LP) has to offer. From a regular terrain we were suddenly exported into what seemed like the Polar Express, snow-clad mountains and frozen lakes were mesmerizing also because they were least expected.- You will have a short 5 minute stop at a waterfall on the way, where you'll hear some music and suddenly notice a lady perched on top dancing in the middle of nowhere! There is a legend associated with this. Get off the train and get photographs!I'll never forget this train ride! My display/profile picture has been clicked from the train.

I was probably more impressed by the engineering behind the construction of the line than the scenery - don't get me wrong. It was a very scenic route but felt a bit like a tourist trap. The train clearly is for tourists and felt that way - it's not my thing. I would recommend if you are in good physical condition and are visiting Flåm by train from either Oslo or Bergen to rent a bike in Myrdal and cycle to Flåm. Then take the train one way back from Flåm to Myrdal. It's mostly downhill from Myrdal. You'd want to be in really good physical condition to go the other way.

We were on a cruise and the two place I wanted to go to were the flam railway and the geiranger fjord. We had good weather and great sunshine so we had wonderful views. The train journey stops at a hotel for waffles and coffee. Also there is a stop by the waterfall. The views all the way are wonderful. The village is very nice and we went on a small train (like a bus) this gave us a good idea of the surrounding valley.

Don´t miss this amazing experience. We booked it via the Tourist information office in Bergen (Norway in a nutshell). We started with a 5 hour boat trip on the fjords - amazing waterfalls, mountains and scenery - followed by the absolutely spectacular train ride from Flam to Myrdal. Flam itself is a little disappointing - a lot of tourist gift shops and cafes - I suppose I had been expecting a little Norwegian village. But then, just as we thought the best of the day was over, we caught the train from Myrdal back to Bergen and - what a surprise - more stunning views - so don't miss it and fall asleep, as others did, on this part of the train journey. It really is an absolute must.

The train travels through beautiful nature and landscape. The view outside is beautiful but the train travels through many dark tunnels when one cant see anything. On its journey, it stops at a beautiful waterfall, when one can get down for 5 minutes. Expensive but worth doing.

It is knowned has one of the most beautiful train journeys of the world. From Gudvanger take the boat to Flam, and then catch the train to Myrdal. The train takes you to a beautiful view of snow, waterfalls and mountains. If you're in Bergen, don't miss it.

Everywhere in Norway was very picturesque especially during spring. I love this scenic train that I took during my 5 days in Norway. Worth the try and get your camera ready for one of the best experience you have!

My partner and I took the train up to Finse from Flam in the summer. The train journey itself is nice and scenic. It was jam packed full of people off the cruise ship, which is completely fair enough.. It's a great way of seeing the scenery! Most people returned after getting to Myrdl, but we changed trains and went to Finse. We hired bikes and took the amazing journey down to Flam. I must admit, the ride wasn't quite as easy as I was expecting (or I had told my girlfriend it was going to be!). It starts with a fair bit of uphill, but after approximately 20km, when you reach myrdl, it is pretty much all downhill. The switchbacks after myrdl station are amazing!In total I think the ride was approx 55km. Not a cheap day out by any means, but a must do activity if in the area. The scenery is breathtaking and at times you really feel like you could be the only people for miles!

This railway line and train connect to the main line from bergen to Oslo so the train basically runs all year round. We took a trip on January 2nd when we were practically the only people on the train, The trip was amazing, the scenery stunning as advertised. The trip ran perfectly on time [up to the top of the mountain which was in about 5 ft of snow] if you are from UK you will appreciate the magnitude of this. I booked the 9am train and was slightly panicked that it would be in complete darkness but it got light about 9.10am so we could see perfectly. In summer you can hire bikes and then mountain bike back down the mountain. It is not especially cheap but I would say worth doing, especially if you can achieve it when the cruise ships are not docked.

We actually did this today being the 01/01/15. Got the first train out of Bergen at 0757 only to be told that there was an avalanche at Dale and we'd have to be bused to Voss then change back onto the Oslo S bound train. NSB radioed ahead to Flåm to hold our connection, otherwise it would have been quite a troublesome trip. The coach was a good substitute and didn't detract from the experience. To the other reviewers who say it's over priced for what it is!!! The tunnels were hand dug a metre a month over 20 years. And the accessibility means you ain't getting there any other way. Yes there's a monopoly but I didn't think it was too high a price to pay to bring in the year with my children enjoying wonderful scenery, warm carriages and a lovely stop by the albeit frozen waterfall. Impromptu snowball fights and high jinx was a great 2015 start. With hindsight I would have originally stopped off in Flåm coming from Oslo to avoid an unnecessary repeat journey but we got to see lovely Norway again.

It was a nice experience with one stop by the beautiful waterfalls. There was also a performance of which seemed to be driven from Norwegian folk troll stories. Apparently it's a historic train and a historic route as well. Didn't know much about the railway before I got on board. However, there was a commentary in many languages during the trip explaining the history of the famous Flam Railway.

We did this as a part of the Norway in a nutshell tour, and it's really amazing.The scenic route that the Flam railway takes, is simply staggering! We went during the mid of March and got to experience frozen waterfalls and fjords, snow capped mountains and the beautiful pristine village of Flam. The landscape is really vivid, as within half an hour, the scenery changed from the lush green flam valley to the snow covered station of Myrdal! It was a really great experience, and a must see for anyone who visits Norway.
