Recommand a walk in the gardens, is beautiful and romantic, with many birds and flowers. Its just so nice to lay down in the grass and read a book on a sunny summer day!

If you like hidden city gems or botanical "stuff" in any way, this is for you. The Ringve Museum (in the middle og the park, but separate attraction) also is a reason to go here. The Botanical gardens are quiet, somewhat hidden and amazingly impressive for being this far north. It is a piece of continental Europe in a place where you wouldn't expect to find it. Norway haven't had much aristocracy throughout it's history, but there is some "aristocracy feel" to this place, even though the history behind the Ringve Gardens is different... There is a pleasant cafe at Ringve main building and the area is a nice place to walk for some typical Trondheim residential area feel. Not far away is Lade Gaard, also worth a look. Many beautiful old farm main buildings around here. Also close by is one og the busiest and least charming shopping areas in Trondheim. But, if you walk in the opposite direction, you reach "Ladestien" ("The Lade path") which takes you on a very nice walk alongside the Trondheim fjord.

Very beautiful garden to take a slow and peaceful walk. Certainly one of the best places in Trondheim. I definitely recommend!

We 7 friends Cruising in Hurtigruten's Northbound Ship opted for excursion to visit Ringve Museum & these Gardens are adjacent to the Music Museum. The variety of flowers, greenery, ferns & trees are meticulously attended. It is a treat to see the riot of colours & the growth of the plants. It certainly satisfies one's aesthetic sense. I would recommend all nature lovers for refreshing your eyesight to visit these Gardens. Do not miss the excellent Ringve Museum near it.

Worth visiting both for the gardens, the view and the Music museum. Lovely quiet spot, beautiful old buildings.

For et nydelig sted. Fantastisk hage i historiske omgivelser. Passer for hele familien.

Ingen bilveier i sikte. Romantisk for par.
